Marketing is not cheap and usually doesn't have much of an impact, but as with everything we CANNOT generalize! There are good and bad ways in marketing, let me drop you a few tips on how to spot the good places based on OBJECTIVE MEASURES and not on what you heard. There are always haters of good places, but also people who lie about the place to get a commission, so in the end, the information you receive can be false. But how to deal with it and make sure you are not wasting your time and marketing funds? READ BELOW!
Before we dig deeper into the topic at the start of the negotiations MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE CORRECT
@NICKNAME of the channel owner, in order not to get scammed. Double check! This information should be available in the description of the group and official links!
ANALYTICS, DATA AND STATISTICS:
➡️ Whenever you ask for the packages and price list of a particular place. Ask for the statistics. If the owner is good and solid the stats = mirror, and there shouldn't be trouble acquiring. In telegram you can get statistics both of groups and also a channel. On X you can get a screen of analytics desk.
➡️ What to look for? Let's bring on the example of the TG. On the statistics screen you get members count, and messages count, but what we look for especially = viewing and posting members in comparison with the total members count.
➡️ The better the ratio of total members compared to viewing members and posting members the better. This tells us if the place is active and if people are posting anything to the group. TLDR activity.
➡️ Example here I will use our Army group. You can see the ratio is pretty high and almost 70% of the members are viewing the group actively and around 55% of the group members are posting, and chatting. This means the group is pretty active, not much of a "dead accounts" in, and worth checking out. Using this simple method you can spot dead places and botted ones. But of course, do not take this as a single factor.
Total members: 1.3K
Viewing members: 927
Posting members: 723

CONTENT & AUDIENCE:
➡️ Make sure to watch the actual content that is produced by the influencer or the channel. What to look for? Let's check!
➡️ A red flag is too much of calls being made. If there is a bunch of plays every day being shared usually decreases the volume and the attention of the audience is diffused. Myself I am sticking to a rule of ONLY one campaign set per week! Quality matters.
➡️ A red flag is too much of too much of gossip, hatred, and blaming posts. The energy of posting those can be transformed into something more valuable from my perspective. The audience also learns this behavior from the owner. Toxicity is still a big thing in this space, sadly.
➡️ A red flag is having only AMAs and Calls being done in the channel. This means there are no other initiatives and the audience matches the content. Are you looking for serious investors, are you looking for the network to be expanded? Take a look if there are events like open mics, business panels, or other creative content. AMAs and Calls if done quality way, are super good and healthy for the channel, but the content should be balanced and spread amongst the platforms of the influencer evenly.
➡️ An example of the content that I mark as bullish are Business Spaces, Panels, and Shows. With me hosted regularly every Thursday with an awesome organic number of 1200-2.1k tuned in so far!

➡️ Remember to look for consistency and quality of the projects joining the events! Once again the content matches the audience!
➡️ Regarding the audience, it is always a good idea to ask for proof of where the audience is coming from if there are bigger numbers in the VC and bigger numbers in the reactions to the posts or views. These can be easily botted and usually, it is clear to check. For example, I started my own Army to back all the numbers, use the rewards the correct way, and bring on the force of what the Army has. Have more than 600 verified Soldiers via @elnensarmyraidbot and the numbers of the Army are spiking sharply!
COOPERATION, LONG-TERM THINKING VS ONE TIMERS:
➡️ When you're done checking the place's statistics, content, and also the packages. Before you close a deal let's try to network and ask what is possible and how to cooperate after the package, ama, campaign, or bundle is done. Believe the good places and good influencers are trying to keep the good teams, and good projects around for updates and other cooperative stuff. It is logical. We should support good projects, make good ROI, and build the project, help it out.
➡️ A red flag is a "one-time" kind of behavior and thinking. You should take the marketing funds as an investment. You pick the places that are growing and pushing various initiatives or events = you can also participate and be a part of this growth. If the marketing is done only for a one-time stand, usually it is a wasted opportunity to grow your network and work cross-community bonds.
➡️ As an example of how this could be taken: every campaign I prepare I take as an opportunity to onboard a new project or, a new team to my private network of owners. Currently, there are around 200 project owners inside the group with some I have been cooperating for more than a year!
PACKAGES, PRICE LIST, SERVICES:
➡️ Sometimes there is not the biggest marketing fund and we are on a budget. So we gotta stick to the solo bundles or amas, but that is fine. The point here is to look at how the influencer perceives marketing and as I dropped above aint "a one-time standard."
➡️ Look for the complexity, look at the whole idea behind the price and service list, bundles, or campaign. Can you see that there is a bigger picture and various methods used in the package? If yes, congratulations you probably found an owner that took an effort and thought of how to make the package or a bundle, any marketing done better, more effective, and deliver effective and consistent results.
➡️ I am focused on multi-day and multi-platform marketing campaigns that use methods from the psychology and business realm. Intertwining all the places of mine into one coherent push that usually lasts 5 or 9 total days and every day there is content being produced and the audience educated about the product and project in a coherent way that makes sense and there is a goal that we put and stick to in cooperation with the particular team of a project.
