Just a final thought on Valorant tier 2, as I am in my final days here in Japan.
I find it insane that in a tier 2 ecosystem with one international opportunity a year, there is playoff formats that are being used with single elimination format
One bad game and your year is done July 10, with another whole year wait to go international again.
Again, when there is only one international you can’t test player’s nerves in high pressure scenarios which doesn’t allow them to consistently grow, one chance each year to stress test players and see how they perform under real pressure.
In 2022, if I was eliminated in July, I still had 2 more chances to qualify in international events in the old format (I wonder why there was 10x the orgs invested then, compared to now 🤔)
I really hope there is more international opportunities for tier 2 next year, I truly cannot see the scene surviving outside of huge regions like SEA & Japan otherwise

After I saw BOOM last year when imo they should've won the entire ascension I see them taking this especially considering their experience and core from last year.
