I feel like people aren’t talking about Chauncey Golston and the impact that he could have on this
#NYGiants defense this season enough.
In 2024, Golston proved to be a dependable and versatile force up front for the
#Cowboys. Golston logged 790 defensive snaps in 2024, ranking him 17th among edge rushers and was playing in 72% of the
#DallasCowboys defensive plays.
He was faced with a heavy workload and made an impact in both pass rushing and run defense which highlights why he’s a key addition to the
#NYGiants defensive line. Golston also had a 31% run stop rate which edges out prominent players like Nick Bosa at 29% and Travon Walker at 30%. Being able to help a young defense that was horrid against the run will help immensely.
With his blend of physical skills and adaptability, he’s a key asset for the
#NYGiants defensive line. What was once a strength for the New York Giants, in recent years their DL depth outside of Dexter Lawrence hasn’t been there from a talent standpoint.
@2live57 has the potential to really help elevate Shane Bowens defense paired with new additions like Abdul Carter and Darius Alexander in my opinion. Adding someone who has the versatility to play inside and on the edge is huge for this young defense.
