Interesting to read @McIlroyRory comments today. At 35 years old I was also bullet proof saying things about not playing past 50. I’m 55 now and laughing at my comments from back then. @ChampionsTour golf is so fulfilling with a great bunch of players we all grew up together from junior golf. So sad to hear the news of the passing of Sir Michael Parkinson earlier today. What a kind and brilliant man. I met Michael many times here at Wentworth, often in the gym. I feel privileged to have known him and to be able to call him a friend. This is such a loss. I’ve been thinking about Michael all day, thinking about the many wonderful conversations we had. My heart really goes out to his beloved wife Mary and the rest of the family.
