I had a friend who had one Red Bull send his heart into something they called “supraventricular tachycardia” or in other words, his heart started beating way faster than normal and wouldn’t slow down. I believe he said it was at around 120 beats per minute for something like six hours.
Despite all the effort of the doctors, they deeply feared he would suffer from a heart attack. They even flew in a specialist from New York to help stabilize my friend. In the end his heart returned to normal after twelve hours.
To this day he won’t touch energy drinks anymore. Careful with those energy drinks people.
