Imagine screaming for this.
Every single person in the crowd is a slave.
Drones.
The people who want you dead for not obeying the government.
Stupid people are easily led and our “leaders” are treasonous.
Stupid people by default are evil.
It’s so funny to me how The Big Bang Theory ended because Jim Parsons didn’t want to do it anymore, yet he’s the only one who’s been consistently playing his character from the show since it ended
We need to go back to the system where you put the disc in and then you can just play the game, no download required. Digital games are setting us back
My hot take is “grounded political thriller but there’s also a giant red Hulk” is more interesting to me than just “grounded political thriller” when you’re making a superhero movie.
I’m so glad that they let this Spider-Man quip and joke so much because when he shut up, it meant something. That’s a huge part of who Spider-Man is to me
Never noticed that Keith is holding up 3 fingers instead of 2 for peace. What a weird difference in the timeline. Obviously not the weirdest difference but weird nonetheless
It would be so cool if the comic book movie that was ashamed of being a comic book movie would be passed at the box office by the one that finally gave Hugh Jackman a colorful costume
'DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE' has crossed $1B at the Box Office! ⚔️
— First Marvel film since 'SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME' to gross $1B.
— 2nd highest grossing film of 2024.
— 2nd R-rated film to cross $1B after 'JOKER'.
— Highest grossing film in the 'DEADPOOL' franchise.
I could make a whole thread on why this needle drop is perfect but I wanna say my 2 main reasons. 1. It breaks the chain by being the first non-diegetic licensed song in the GOTG franchise. 2. It breaks the chain by being the first song to be used more than once in the film.
It’s to show that Thanos is a threat. The best way to show someone is a threat is to have them beat up the strongest member of the team, so Hulk losing to Thanos is actually a compliment to Hulk. Shows he’s the strongest one there is. Strongest until Thanos
I think I just realized something.
So Falcon and the Winter Soldier takes place before Far From Home, right? In Far From Home, Happy throws a shield and says “How does Cap do that?”
Notice he said this in the present tense.
Happy wasn’t referencing Steve Rogers in this scene.
James Gunn on the last 3 episodes of ‘PEACEMAKER’ S2:
“I am the one who's keeping the 3 episodes away from everybody because there's too many surprises in those last 3 episodes. Especially 6 and 8, they are just crazy, my favorite things I've ever done of anything.”
Zack Snyder has reflected on BATMAN V SUPERMAN's divisive reception:
“We gave them this… heavily layered, experiential modern mythological superhero movie that… you really need to pay attention to. That was not cool [for them]…” Full quote: thedirect.com/article/zack-s…
When she showed up I took one look and said “oh, this must be Dr. Connors!” Being white and a man is not essential to the character, all you need is one arm and it’s recognizable. Y’all will just complain to complain
Did you know?
In the 2019’s Spider-Man: Far From Home, Mysterio says that Spider-Man’s name is Peter Parker. This is a subtle reference to Peter Parker, the secret identity of Spider-Man in the comics.
Marvel, you’ve got the perfect Spider-Man suit, there’s nothing you can do to make it better, so don’t bother trying, let him keep this suit for the rest of his time in the MCU, aside from maybe the Symbiote.
I love how some of the first set pics for TASM, minus the film crew/equipment, look and feel like witness recordings of a real-life “Spider-Man” incident. Like IRL Daily Bugle photos
