I want to make my stance crystal clear - I think we're in a recession, I think equities will see a big ol correction, as it has done a 100 times in our past
I think dollar shall rise, and I don't really have an opinion on bonds
Those are my viewpoints, I'll be trading those view points, holding for a day, maybe a month, maybe an hour at a time
There's alot of people who have never achieved anything in life that will poke fun at this or attempt to 'troll' - maybe it gives them a kick, I don't personally understand the thrill, but to each is own
These sort of people don't bother me, because I've been through these cycles multiple times already, they always disappear sometime during them, while I end up making ever increasing amounts of money off of them
I started from quite literally nothing, a thousand bucks, and now I am almost debt free with a mansion, luxury vehicles, and a loving family
There will always be people who are envious, who hate, who wish you ill - time has shown me such people always get what they sow
So I let time do its thing, while I sit here, day after day, month after month, and year after year

It’s been a rough few months for me
I had a drawdown of ~140k since about September - I’ve gotten about a 120 of that back past couple of weeks, always more work to do
That’s trading though, it’s not all yachts lambos and success - in fact, that’s the 2% - the 98% is what I just told you
I’m transparent - I have no reason not to be - I’m selling you no product - I post because I sit on my ass either which way
Ytd I’m close to 600k - my goal is a cool million - I’ll challenge myself to get it
I won’t attack others, and I used try to defend myself from morons but after 11 years of doing this I’ve figured it’s a waste of energy - so I won’t bother anymore.

Everytime i make this analogy a woke person tells me to take it down, or an idiot giggles, but it's true on how I approach the market
Native americans only took from the land what they needed, they used every part of the animal, and they prospered, it wasn't until greedy white men came and wiped them out that they went extinct
but for thousands and thousands of years, they lived generation from generation living off the land
the market is very much like this, if you are greedy, you will eventually get annihilated, if you take your $1,000 a day, or whatever your goal is, the market will reward you, often times with plenty more
If you are always satisfied with your results, you will keep persisting, achieving the same thing continuously
but if you are never satisfied with your results, you will make more and more brash decisions, until eventually it destroys you

But the way I read it is he’s digging his heels in, and he doesn’t want to deal with the bajillion emails that’ll be coming his way demanding he stop shorting $nvda - as we all know these things take a long time to pop
Closing down shop means he can short and not listen to whiny clients and deal with withdrawals rules and all that
