I’ve been working to secure an organization or sponsor for an MLG-style Halo 2 tournament to celebrate its 20th anniversary this November. I want to honor Halo 2 with a major event in Vegas, but we need sponsors to help with venue costs. We have a solid team ready—equipped with all the necessary gear, determination, and experience—to pull this off, but so far, no org or sponsor has committed. A partnership with a large organization would not only validate but also help attract additional sponsors. I’m not looking to make a dime or take credit , I just really want to see this happen.
I love Halo 2 and really want to bring the community I miss so much together for one last big event. I’m reaching out to ask for your help in increasing the visibility of this post (RT/Like/Comment or tag, anything helps), so it might reach the right people who can help bring this together.
I have shared plenty of awesome memories and moments with most you that I look back fondly of so even if I can't make this happen I want to thank you and let you know that I appreciate you and the times we shared together. Thank you for taking the time to listen to an old head like me.

Alright last tweet on the event and overall something I got wrong. @Tashi343i in the past has been unfairly judged and put down by the competitive community, and I’m including my (2016) self in that.
Most, if not all, of those grievances that players attributed to him were in fact decisions made that weren’t his. His tenacity to roll with the punches for a decade and essentially being a scapegoat for ANYTIME that there was a choice the community disagreed with. To still have the passion he does for Halo after that is nothing short of inspiring.
I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt that Tashi loves Halo. He loves the community and fights for whatever he can do to make everyone happy. He was a major reason the prize pool got to where it was, which helped legitimize the event. I knew he was having the time of his life being around Halo 2 and capturing moments from the event.
Thank you Tashi, for all that you do for the Halo community

😅 I don’t think people will ever fully understand how many close calls this event had. A happy accident with a lot of hard working and trusting people. Even if that was my last event, I’d be happy with that.
This past weekend was incredible! The stars aligned for Halo 2’s 20th. Luck and planning made it perfect and is the only way to describe it. Thanks to everyone who attended, volunteers, sponsors, talent, @MLGPuckett but especially thank you @Swift_Kill YOU ARE THAT GUY! 💜

Stats from the event are all there. I think we got 100% of the games played for Halo 2. Need to do some quality spot checks to confirm but looking good. Unfortunately the audio glitched on some of the VODs but I believe I have all the videos for both Halo 1 and Halo 2 team games

Doesn’t get talked about often but I think Halo 2 events were so intense and exciting because there was no mics on LAN. Astro changed the game but watching some old VODs makes me want to LAN h2

I’m a Halo 2/3 purist but man some of the slander the guys are getting is beyond me. @aPureGangster has been placing top 4 SINCE 2008 and is STILL DOING IT! The impact of the meta and the humility @RyaNoobHCS and @Shotzzy showed, speaks volumes of their character. Disappointed
