When I started writing I didn't know how long it would take or how it would end. Close to two years later, I realize that the 'ending' is rarely simple and no matter how many days go by the pain never subsides. Who were Abby and Libby? They were so much more than what happened to them on February 13, 2017. They lived for 13 and 14 years. It’s a question I’ve heard several times today (I’ve asked it too)! “What do you think the jury will decide and can you tell based on how long it takes them what the verdict will be?” My response: I don’t know and no.
I know the wait must be excruciating for the families. I wish we could tell based on the time it takes but history will show you there is no formula when it comes to a jury’s verdict and deliberations

Scott Peterson: 11 hours GUILTY
Jodi Arias: 15 hours and 5 min GUILTY
It’s been about 9 hours. What I do know is that the jurors were paying attention and asking intelligent questions. So as we continue to wait think of the families and have faith in the judicial system. 🙏🩵💜
