BREAKING: Newport Harbor football coach Peter Lofthouse has stepped down as the Sailors’ head coach and has taken the head coaching position at El Toro. Lofthouse coached the Sailors for 6 seasons, leading them to 3 CIF-SS semifinals appearances, 1 CIF-SS championship and an appearance in the CIF State playoffs. Lofthouse currently lives in Lake Forest, right be El Toro High School.

Apparently it’s Bailey’s first win at Davidson Field, as his team needed to grind it out on the road against the Sea Kings. Keep an eye on the Mustangs come playoff time.
