To facilitate taxpayers in making payments of Government duties and taxes through Over-the-Counter and Alternate Delivery Channels, it has been decided that all Saturday-opening branches of commercial banks and NBP’s branches handling Custom collections shall remain open from 09:00 A.M. to 05:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 27, 2026. All branches of commercial banks and NBP branches handling Custom collections shall observe extended working hours on 29th and 30th June 2026.

📢#SBP has released the advance calendar of MPC meetings for FY27 and announced additional communication avenues which include:
✅Increase in frequency of post-MPC press conferences from two to four times a year. The press conferences by SBP’s Governor will be conducted following the MPC meetings in July, October, January and April.
✅The presentation prepared by staff for the post-MPC Analyst Briefing will now be published on SBP’s official website. This will be made available one day after the MPC meeting.
✅The minutes of MPC meeting will now be published by the end of the 4th week of the corresponding MPC meeting on SBP’s website.
