My colleague was presenting to our whole group (200 lawyers) on her laptop. It was Friday at 4. An outlook message popped up in the corner of the screen, from one of her pals, with the Subject Line βLetβs getting fucking wankeredβ.
My wife and two sons all have COVID. So Iβm eating alone, sleeping alone and have a sitting room to myself every night.
Itβs bloody amazing, if Iβm honest.
Iβm not sure itβs tragedy related Henry, at least any more. Itβs that they perpetually feel that theyβre hard done by - and make that point relentlessly on here - itβs a theme that we see every season. Itβs so tiresome.
If Spurs were officially interested in Gabriel Jesus, I canβt help think it was to ramp up the price. Theyβre now paying a sub with 1 goal in 3 (for the best team around) the highest ever club wage. Mustnβt laugh.
For my first eight dates with my (now) wife, we went for something to eat. Then, on the ninth, we went to see a movie.
Dinner, dinner, dinner, dinner, dinner, dinner, dinner, dinner, Batman.
Hey @SpursOfficial, is it really reasonable for a Spurs top for a 7 year old to cost Β£71.99 (including a name, and delivery)? Hardly a way to encourage it eh?
I am a lawyer and do construction disputes on major projects. I have represented clients on disputes on Wembley and Anfield. Nearly all major schemes go wrong. A 4-month delay on a Β£400m scheme is not at all unusual, and dare I say it, pretty typical. Just roll with it.
Iβm not necessarily denying this motivation, but JKR is nowhere near the best writer of her generation. She writes childrenβs books which are fine butβ¦
In the last 10 years Spursβ average league position has been 4.5.
In the 10 years before ENIC, the average position was 11.0.
So - even ignoring infrastructure improvements - itβs important not to forget this clear performance improvement, when having a pop at trophies.
People do not take their kids to work, however weβll-behaved they might be. This is a misguided beef. Take maternity or get child care, as the rest of the UK would have to.
Getting a lot of grief from Levy Out brigade. I am simply happy that I love the club whatever, and itβs not conditional on spending big. To the contrary, if anything. Weβre doing it properly and I am very proud of that.
Championship Manager has a lot to answer for.
Spurs appoint a director of football. Something the #LevyOut lot have been asking for for ages. Yet theyβre already complaining, saying itβs some type of scheme by Levy to avoid accountability.
How predictable. Bore off.
This fuel crisis was fuelled by 30 petrol stations closing, a localised BP issue in the south.
It wasnβt due to a fuel shortage and wasnβt due to a tanker driver shortage.
Amazing how things snowball, when the population comprises 20% idiots.
Teachers are against re-opening schools on 8 March 2021.
Now there's a surprise.
If they lived in the real world, they'd understand how ridiculous this is to everyone else.
Nice to listen @spursshow yesterday and hear a lot of common sense about Levy, his passion for the ground etc., his efforts. It was nice to hear some grown ups for a change.
Youβd think nothing would surprise you, after 12 years on here. But 5m unvaccinated in the UK is quite incredible. Thatβs quite a number of ignorant, or plain crazy, folk.
Spurs have not made any comments about managers. For all we know, they knew who they wanted instantly but had to wait.
And the press had to fill the vacuum, and the Twitter pile-on followed.
If Spurs get Conte and Paratici, and have a summer transfer splurge, itβs nice to know that all the #ENICOut numpties will not enjoy it quite as much as me.
Levy not getting enough credit for ignoring Pochettino when, with fans offside, it would have been the easiest appointment in the world to make.
He knew who he wanted, is my take. All other rumours BS paper talk.
There are of course terrible stories like this, but fortunately itβs a vanishingly small %.
Thatβs no comfort if you do happen to be affected obviously but - for the population viewed as a whole - vaccines are an incredible and highly beneficial thing.
