Here are some of my locations featured in #CyberpunkEdgerunners show I did a while back when I was in Poland working at @CDPROJEKTRED . It's quite cool to see all the content / designs we created in the anime. If you wanna know more... Check out this thread!! β¬οΈβ¬οΈβ¬οΈ
It just blows my mind to think about this actually happening in 10-ish days after all this time! It's crazy!
π₯I know I'm gonna be too absent by then, so I would like to thank the whole development team for all the effort, hard work and passion put into this!!π₯
#Cyberpunk2077
ARTISTS, you can only use ONE art picture to convince people to follow you. Which art piece you using?
Still one of the best things I have worked on :)
Iβm glad to announce I joined back CD Projekt RED as a Senior Environment Artist!! β₯οΈ (This was quite a crazy ride!)
I will be working on the new Witcher saga!
Decluttering and simplifying areas on CS2 Inferno.
Currently there's a lot of 'unnecessary' clutter and map designs affecting player visibility.
Here are example edits removing objects, simplifying walls and flattening floor elevations to make competitive gameplay 'cleaner'.π
Best day ever, Iβve worked in other titles, but this one is by far the first time I feel a part of me is actually there inside, not just as a developer, but also as a person, Itβs been a crazy ride since that first *beep* came out. Thank you to everybody involvedπ₯#Cyberpunk2077
Alright since itβs creating a lot of fuzz, Iβm gonna deeply explain my opinion on this, please, read it carefully before replying, I will do it with politeness and good manners, I do not seek any hate, attention or blocks from others, Iβm obviously not here to make enemies πβ¬οΈβ¬οΈ
Iβm a bit lost about when is the proper #PortfolioDay so I will drop my stuff here π Iβm a 3D environment artist currently working at CDPR. Hope you like it!
Iβm glad to finally announce that this next Monday will be my first day as a Senior Environment Artist @Crytek πpretty excited about this new adventure. 10 years ago I was a teenager playing Crysis 2 inside my room with my old GT240, crazy how life changes in few years ππ
Yesterday was my last day working as an Environment artist at CD Projekt RED, Itβs been an incredible journey and I wanna thank everyone who was there supporting the whole team since the very beginning. Exciting news coming soon, take care and see you in the Afterlife. π
Well a year has passed and here we are, once again! ItΒ΄s really awesome to see all the community and break the barrier between the art that inspires you everyday and the real human behind! #artvsartist2021
As I mentioned in the last reply, the gradient is not unnecessary, it is information, in Max or Maya you donβt get this which means when you select a duplicated vertex that is not properly welded, you will not know.
This feels beyond incredible! After all the hard work, I think Iβve never been that nervous in my whole life ππ I wish I could somehow express how much all this means! What a rollercoaster of emotions. #Cyberpunk2077
The Blender way of doing things, you realise how much time you lost in the past. Also this is not just my opinion, I helped around 20 people switching to Blender over the last 5 years, and not even one of them complained about the speed. 2/3
All the pace, love and respect, since I love this Blender and 3D community, and we are all here to learn and keep pushing things in the right direction! π π π
I get the point of the frustration Blender generates to the power users coming from a different 3D Suite, but once you get used to it, and you change all your clicky workflow from Max/Maya (Getting lost around menus forever and ever) and you start getting used to⦠1/3
In Blender, components are REAL independent components, which are connected afterwards, but in the end (this will sound deep) everything is a vertex, that means you can also duplicate (and also extrude) individual vertices.
Hi all! I updated my portfolio with the new stuff I did for the 1.9 update of Hunt: Showdown, go check it out and let me know if you like it! Had lots of fun with that! ππ

Last Friday was my last day working at Crytek, it was such a beautiful experience working alongside with such a talented team, I admired them since I was a teenager playing Crysis and loved my time there.
Kudos to everyone who made me feel like home! πβ₯οΈππ
Cannot believe It's already a month to the release of this game, feels crazy, I was still at my hometown when title was announced, with zero knowledge of 3D.
A lot happened last 8 years and feels even scary to realize that I've been working here almost 3 years in few months.
And this is something hard to explain but not a lot of people know about, when you select something, and you convert, letβs say a face selection to vertex and then instead of pressing 3 you press Ctrl+3, the conversion to faces, makes the selection grow by 1 step
The whole point about Blenderβs interface and workflow, itβs designed so you can use a tool like bevel, and switch from bevelling faces/edges, to bevelling vertices quite easily (Just pressing V while doing a bevel)
First test messing around with Geometry nodes in #b3d and I love itπ IΒ΄m just a little confused about how to properly apply displacement noises just for (X, Y) and restrict Z axis. Really outstanding work done here by the Blender devs, this has a huge potential. #geometrynodes
Check Kubaβs CP2077 locations in the #CyberpunkEdgerunners show! His work is awesome and always loved what he did with the architecture π€ You can really see the influence he had over Night City and his style glows in the show as well! π₯
Finished @edgerunners and loved it! A proper #cyberpunk anime set in a... very familiar world ;) Too bad level artists weren't credited, but that's the way it is. Here are some of my locations featured in the show π§΅
Japan Town roundabout area: (1/8)
Today I turned 27 π₯³ and instead of posting a picture of me, I will share the people who have been around lately! So I wanna thank everybody who is part of this Twitter gaming community, you inspire me everyday and make my day better! Special thanks to every wizard within #b3d π
First one (and personally the most important one for me) is the Afterlife, you see it for the first time during the 4th episode, this one is my little lifetime achievement, got so much involved with this location and enjoyed every bit of it! π₯β¬οΈ
Also note that all this can be disabled with the proper menus (upper right of the viewport) and the very, VERY large Theme menu, there is something you cannot deny about Blender, and is that is flexible, VERY flexible.
3D modelling is dead
1 artist, 100x your workflow with CityBLD
Here is New York City recreated in Unreal. A totally playable 1:1 representation of the city made by one person π€―
The tools that creatives will have at their disposals are pure wild fire
A threadπ§΅
Here is where the magic happens, and the reason why all this is useful information, and not just visual noise. When you select the vertices, the highlighted faces are just a preview about the faces it will select when you convert the selection (Select vertices with 1, press 3)
Today I just found this on LinkedIn, and itβs so cool to see people who likes and appreciates something you have done.
When I started working as an artist I had pretty clear that what I wanted to achieve with my work were 2 main things:
Entertain and Inspire
Not sure about now, but before 2.8 was a thing, center of faces were toggled on by default, this helps a lot when you wanna select face loops very quickly. If you hit Alt+LeftClick Up/Down, it will select the vertical loop, if you do the same on the Right/Left, the horizontal one
Wow these are big words! π I really had an amazing time trying to make it feel special, I know it better than my apartment tho, which is worrying haha
For the exterior area (before stairs) I took the outstanding work of @liamwong as a reference. ππ
Also, if you (or anyone) really wanna help Blender development, you can always use the official forums or RightClickSelect, they are always more than welcome to hear your new fresh ideas: blender.community/c/rightcliβ¦
I've been playing around with different lighting setups, having a lot of fun with the iterations. (Still some boxes without textures) Tomorrow will check modeling tools within the engine.
This phenomenon happens close to my hometown when the wind with 2 different temperatures collides and condensates creating this incredibly dense fog with ice and strong winds inside π³ As far as I know this only happens in 2 places in the world π
This must be one of the craziest weeks in the video game dev history, on one side we have Palworld with crazy numbers, low quality execution and sloppy work (This is objective, no offense) and on the other hand Microsoft laying off +1900 devs in a matter of hours. That is wild.
-Finished my photography studies
-Moved to Barcelona (2013)
-Studied videogames
-Got my first job
-Moved to Valencia (2016)
-Got hired at elite3d
-Moved to Poland (2018)
-Got hired at CDPR
-Had a surgery
-Suevived a pandemic (so far lol)
We are almost in 2023 and you still cannot bake color maps from a high poly in SPainter? You still need to use SDesigner for thatβ¦ Please tell me I am missing something here π€£π€ @Substance3D
And the last one but not least, Jenkins office floor inside Arasaka (Corpo path). This was my only chance of doing some Arasaka style environment, since I was more focused into the dirty underground abandoned locations π But still I had an absolute blast working on it! β¬οΈ
Following that one, the 6th episode takes place in the Scavengers apartments, this is your first quest after you finish the prologue, it was designed to be used an "in-game tutorial" where you actually have your first official shootout (without being in a carπ ) β¬οΈ
First test with @midjourney and gotta say this is beyond amazing!! π This feels like the future and will become such a powerful tool for brainstorming and quick ideas. Let me know if any fellow artist who reads this needs an invite, I think Iβve got some left. π€
After all this crazy christmas and a surgery I can say I am so much grateful to be back to normal life and being traveling to Warsaw tomorrow! It's been a blast but for sure worth it! Let's get back to do some #gamedev! π€
All doing the "Rock Challenge" thing, and as I have no PC here, I did it with the iPad π Not so happy since I wish the app would have more trim brushes to properly work with rocks, but big shout-out to "Nomad App", the best sculpting tool I tried for iPad OS. #Rockchallenge
Every bit of it just makes me go emotional remembering the rollercoaster of feelings Cyberpunk was π₯² I love seeing more and more people enjoying both, the game and the show. Regards to all my CDPR fellow friends who read this, was a pleasure sharing that adventure with all youπ
Fun fact, I used to spend a lot of time in an e-Sports Bar from Barcelona called "Afterlife" (I guess it was a Mass Effect tribute) back in the time when I lived there, such a coincidence π life is crazy sometimes, isn't it? π But it was such a lovely level to work on! ππ β¬οΈ
