Can confirm we have asked (or want to) retain Mickey. What people have to remember is if MJ wants to coach here still under Rhule? He will have a ton of options. He’s our #1 recruit right now for the new HC.

As I’ve been telling people, redshirting wasn’t about anything other than being more attractive in the portal. This is a kid Rhule and the #huskers absolutely had to recruit, but he had more red flags than a Chinese consulate.
Malachi Coleman is no longer with the #Huskers and will transfer. Best of luck to the young man.

If your team has cops block midfield so the opposing team can’t do their prayer before the game, then try and get mad that they didn’t shake your hand at the coin toss first time meeting after that, you are a clown and Skip Bayless’ing things to be mad at. #huskers

It's my opinion that Rhule won't end up at Penn State, but will use this to try and get more backing. In his presser he specifically brought up our NIL needing to be better and get to the "35-40 million dollar rosters that aren't going away." He's a calculated guy.

I also want to say that I agree with Rhule we need more NIL, we are in the 25-40 range nationally. But until he only loses to teams on our schedule with more of it like Mich, USC, Penn State, I’m not sure how much traction he will get. Minny game was not an NIL issue.
