If ur looking for comps/transitions I would reccomend guides from top players (Ramblinnn or Robinsongz are good choices) as they list out when to go for which comp, optimal end boards, early game boards, transitions, itemization, tempo etc. for most meta comps.

100% serious and unironic: There is a good chance I will be a top 10 player in set 8. I feel like I learned a lot about the game this set and my fundamentals have been drastically improved. I also developed a good learning strategy. Haters are my motivators. 🤫😂😊😘😛🥸😎😚

Saddens me to see how bad ladder is right now. So many of these chall players lack basic critical thinking skills & rely on spamming the same comps every game and playing 10 games/day to maintain their barely chall rank. Don't know what happened but I hope ladder can get better.

Seriously considering dropping out of jade cup right now. No motivation to learn or play after this patch, there are over 30 gamebreaking bugs, I think the meta is probably more unbearable than last patch. We'll see.

Set 8 is shaping out to be the best set ever if done well. It has the potential to be superflex and very high skill cap with things like aphelios, admin, threats, and underground. I think specifically admin, threats, and underground are such sick fucking mechanics. Hyped as fuck.

I really just dont have motivation to play/watch the game, learn, or improve rn. I'm not thinking or enjoying while in game just auto piloting. I've never experienced burn out before so I don't know what I'm experiencing rn is burnout or not but I might take it easy til 7.5

I thought (and still think) I was the 3rd best player in LCQ. Losing the tiebreaker for 8th sucks.
I made mistakes that I usually never make that would have helped me make day 2 but I still think I played well enough to have made day 2. Some games just felt so unplayable.

They are much more detailed than sites that only show end game boards (mobalytics, lolchess, tactics.tools, ) which wouldnt give you an understanding of the comp or fundamentals. I think those should only be for when you already have the fundamentals.

AP tree is really awkward to play [no 4 cost carry (daeja=8 cost) making midgame weird, no 5 cost frontline, the legendaries dont work well with each other, itemization not as flexible as set 6].
Also, bb has no users
prob wrong on some of these (early set)

Not everyone can achieve the scoreline of 231121 with 6 different comps carrying items on 6 different carries over 6 games, showing complete mastery over the patch, dominating the field with great presence and power. (Talking about my 44 point astral cup day 1 performance btw)

I also think dragons as a set mechanic is probably adding to this. I think it is very bad for the game.

OK last thing. I love tft dev team and know they are trying their best and I trust they will keep improving the game. From the bottom of my heart I think they are the best dev team in gaming. just wanted to say this cuz this is truely how i feel and im very appreciative of them.

And the bugs and low flex play does not help this at all. I feel like over the past sets, due to the set design, unoptimized play is incentivized even in high elo. Might be wrong, this is just imo...
Also being a player who leans AP-tree A LOT does not help me enjoy 7 & 7.5 tbh
