A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH๐Ÿ‡ป๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ ๐Ÿงต c. 33: First Christian Pentecost; descent of the Holy Spirit upon the disciples; preaching of St. Peter in Jerusalem; conversion, baptism and aggregation of some 3,000 persons to the first Christian community. St. Stephen, deacon, was stoned to death at Jerusalem; he is venerated as the first Christian martyr. c. 34: St. Paul, formerly Saul the persecutor of Christians, was converted and baptized. After three years of solitude in the desert, he joined the college of the apostles; he made three major missionary journeys and became known as the Apostle to the Gentiles; he was imprisoned twice in Rome and was beheaded there between 64 and 67. 39: Cornelius (the Gentile) and his family were baptized by St. Peter; a significant event signaling the mission of the Church to all peoples. 42: Persecution of Christians in Palestine broke out during the rule of Herod Agrippa; St. James the Greater, the first apostle to die, was beheaded in 44; St. Peter was imprisoned for a short time; many Christians fled to Antioch, marking the beginning of the dispersion of Christians beyond the confines of Palestine. At Antioch, the followers of Christ were called Christians for the first time. 49: Christians at Rome, considered members of a Jewish sect, were adversely affected by a decree of Claudius which forbade Jewish worship there. 51: The Council of Jerusalem, in which all the apostles participated under the presidency of St. Peter, decreed that circumcision, dietary regulations, and various other prescriptions of Mosaic Law were not obligatory for Gentile converts to the Christian community. The crucial decree was issued in opposition to Judaizers who contended that observance of the Mosaic Law in its entirety was necessary for salvation. 64: Persecution broke out at Rome under Nero, the emperor said to have accused Christians of starting the fire which destroyed half of Rome. 64 or 67: Martyrdom of St. Peter at Rome during the Neronian persecution. He established his see and spent his last years there after preaching in and around Jerusalem, establishing a see at Antioch, and presiding at the Council of Jerusalem. 70: Destruction of Jerusalem by Titus. 88-97: Pontificate of St. Clement I, third successor of St. Peter as bishop of Rome, one of the Apostolic Fathers. The First Epistle of Clement to the Corinthians, with which he has been identified, was addressed by the Church of Rome to the Church at Corinth, the scene of irregularities and divisions in the Christian community. 95: Domitian persecuted Christians, principally at Rome. c. 100: Death of St. John, apostle and evangelist, marking the end of the Age of the Apostles and the first generation of the Church. By the end of the century, Antioch, Alexandria and Ephesus in the East and Rome in the West were established centers of Christian population and influence. c. 107: St. Ignatius of Antioch was martyred at Rome. He was the first writer to use the expression, โ€œthe Catholic Church.โ€ 112: Emperor Trajan, in a rescript to Pliny the Younger, governor of Bithynia, instructed him not to search out Christians but to punish them if they were publicly denounced and refused to do homage to the Roman gods. This rescript set a pattern for Roman magistrates in dealing with Christians. 117-38: Persecution under Hadrian. Many Acts of Martyrs date from this period. c. 125: Spread of Gnosticism, a combination of elements of Platonic philosophy and Eastern mystery religions. Its adherents claimed that its secret-knowledge principle provided a deeper insight into Christian doctrine than divine revelation and faith. One gnostic thesis denied the divinity of Christ; others denied the reality of his humanity, calling it mere appearance (Docetism, Phantasiasm).

Arab invaders attacked a convent of nuns and captured a beautiful virgin, whom they offered as a gift to the commander of their troop. When the commander saw her, he was dazzled by her beauty and sought to corrupt her. She then said to him: "Wait a moment, for I have learned a skill passed down among virgins, and it can only be performed by a virgin, otherwise, it is of no use." He asked her: "And what is this skill?" She replied: "It is an oil: if someone is anointed with it, no sword or weapon can harm them. You, who go often to war, would greatly benefit from it." He said to her: "And how can I be sure of that?" So she took some oil and said to him: "Anoint your neck with it and give me your sword so that I may strike you." He replied: "No! You shall anoint your own neck first, and I will strike with the sword." She agreed gladly, anointed her neck with the oil, and said: "Strike with all your strength!" He drew his sword, which was very sharp, and she bent her neck. He struck with all his might, and her head rolled to the ground. Thus, she chose to die by the sword rather than to defile her virginity. The commander was deeply grieved and wept bitterly for having killed such a beautiful soul. He then realized that she had deliberately deceived him in order to escape defilement and sinโ€ฆ This is Saint Febronia of Syria (Coptic)

An Italian woman living in Australia was suffering from cancer. She was not expected to survive. She went with her son to pray at the tomb of St. Charbel, but the church was closed that day. She was just about to leave when a Maronite priest came up and asked if she needed anything. The woman explained that she had cancer and that she had gone to pray at the tomb of Saint Charbel, but the monastery was closed. She added that she wanted to receive a blessing from one of the priests there. Father told her he would bless her She told her son to photograph the blessing. Later, when she was looking at the pictures with her Lebanese friend, they realized the priest was Saint Charbel! They asked at the monastery and were informed that no one living in the monastery looked like him. She returned to Australia and the tests showed that her cancer had disappeared๐Ÿ‡ป๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

The church that Israel "destroyed." I see a little damage to the facade, and then damaged buildings in the BACKGROUND when you look from a different angle. This is total exaggeration on the part of Candace Owens and other known antisemites. By the way: Church buildings in war zones get damaged or destroyed all the time. The US damaged or destroyed hundreds of not thousands of churches during World War II.

A Tale of Two Religions The first picture is the cell of St. Charbel, a hermit who lived a pure life on earth, serving God in spirit and truth and also preached Christ. The second picture is the $100 million mansion of Kenneth Copeland, a popular prosperity preacher who lives in abundant wealth but preaches Christ. One lives in humility before Christ to serve our Lord, and the other is using the name of Jesus for monetary gain, status, and power. Tell me which one most resembles Christ?

You know, itโ€™s funny when people hear that Pope Leo XIV has a math degree, taught physics, and wrote a thesis on monastic leadership, they act like it's some wild plot twist. The Catholic Church has always been low-key obsessed with education. I mean, did you know nearly every pope since the Renaissance has had a PhD? Benedict XVI had five. Cardinals today basically need doctorate-level expertise to even get a seat at the table. Leo XIV isn't an outlier; he's following a 2,000-year-old playbook where faith and reason are BFFs. This is the same institution that gave us the Big Bang theory (thanks to a Jesuit priest, Georges Lemaรฎtre) and the guy who invented genetics (shoutout to Gregor Mendel, the pea-plant-obsessed Augustinian friar). Yet somehow, we still think of the Church as just incense and hymns. The Church's duality; defending doctrinal tradition while pioneering intellectual frontiers, is its defining paradox. Consider the Vatican's astronomical observatory, which has operated since 1582, or the Pontifical Academy of Sciences, which has included members like Hawking and Einstein. Let's break it down. Those monks and nuns you picture copying manuscripts in candlelit monasteries? They weren't just praying, they were preserving ancient Greek philosophy, advancing math, and basically saving Western civilisation during the Dark Ages. Fast-forward to today, and the Vatican still runs its own space telescope (yes, really, Jesuit brothers track asteroids). The Chรบrch condemned Galileo, sure, but now it funds ethical stem-cell research and partners with IBM on AI ethics. It's like the ultimate comeback story: "Oops, we messed up on heliocentrism; here's a think tank on quantum physics." And let's talk about those religious orders. Jesuits? They basically invented the modern university system. The Jesuits founded in 1540, by a chap called Ignatius Loyala, (half monk, half soldier) ran over 800 universities globally. Franciscans gave us Occam's Razor; you know, that "simplest explanation is best" rule you learned in science class? That came from a 14th-century friar who loved logic more than the Pope loved his fancy hat. The Dominicans had Thomas Aquinas, who merged Aristotle's philosophy with theology. Augustinians, Leo XIV's crew, were all about community and critical thinking, traits he took to Peru, where he spent 20 years teaching in slums while quietly holding dual citizenship. The guy's got more layers than a medieval manuscript. But here's the upper-cut: the Church thrives on this weird paradox. It's conservative enough to make your grandma nod approvingly ("No women priests? Classic.") but progressive enough to have a Pope who trash-talks eco deniers and slams border politics. Leo XIV fits right in; he's a Republican primary voter who also called Trump's family separations "illicit," a social media critic who warns bishops not to be divisive online. It's like the Church says, "We'll debate evolution with Darwinians by day and chant Latin psalms by night and we'll look good doing both." So next time someone acts shocked that a pope knows quantum physics or tweets about refugees, just smile. The Catholic Church has been playing 4D chess with knowledge for centuries. It's not a relic; it's a living library, where friars argue about black holes over breakfast and nuns run coding bootcamps. Leo XIV? He's just the latest chapter in a story where faith doesn't fear scienceโ€ฆIt fuels it.

In a church inside the Monastery of Santa Ana and San Jose in Cordoba, Spain, there is an ancient cross. It is the image of the Cross of Forgiveness that shows Jesus crucified with his right arm stripped of the Cross and down. They tell that one day a sinner went to confess to the priest under this cross. As usual, when a sinner was guilty of a SERIOUS crime, this priest acted very strictly. Not long later, this person fell back and after confessing their sins, the priest threatened: ''This is the last time I'll forgive you.'' Many months passed and that sinner went to kneel down at the priest's feet under the cross and asked for forgiveness again. But on this occasion, the priest was clear and said, ''Don't play with God, please. I can't allow you to keep sinning" But strangely, when the priest rejected the sinner, a noise from the cross was suddenly heard. The right hand of Jesus unraveled and moved by that man's repentance, the following words were heard: ''I am the one who shed the blood on this person, not you.'' Since then, the right hand of Jesus remains in that position, for it continually invites man to ask and receive forgiveness.

Animals in the jungle attracted to cross has scientists baffled. In the small town of Mysuru, India, a centuries-old monastery has long been known for the large cross that stands just outside its walls. For decades, locals have whispered about something extraordinary elephants, tigers, and even monkeys gathering at the cross, lingering around it as if paying respect. One traveler, curious about the rumors, decided to investigate. He set up a hidden camera, and the footage stunned everyone: herds of elephants pausing during their journeys, tigers brushing against the stone, and monkeys circling quietly beneath it. When researchers reviewed the recordings, they uncovered something even stranger elephants were altering their annual migration routes just to stop at the cross. Scientists were baffled. To find answers, they spoke with the monks. The monastery revealed that the cross had been erected generations ago in honor of the man who founded the church. According to legend, he lived in harmony with the surrounding wildlife, even walking face to face with tigers without being attacked. Locals say he was buried beneath the very spot where the cross now stands, and stories still circulate about his bond with elephants that once roamed the forests. Whether the animals are drawn by something supernatural, or whether they are somehow remembering a bond passed down through generations, no one can say for certain. But one thing is clear: this mystery reminds us how little we truly understand about the deeper connections between humans, animals, and nature.

More than 200 Muslim men in Gaza have converted to Christianity after reportedly seeing Jesus in their dreams. This news coming out of Palestine from underground Christian ministries: "Over the past two days, we have ministered to hundreds of fathers who have lost most, if not all, of their children in the war. As we moved these men to safety, we fed them, washed their clothes, and began to read the Bible to them - sharing the way of peace through Jesus. Then, a big miracle happened. Last night, Jesus appeared to more than 200 of them in their dreams! They have come back to us to learn more from God's Word and are asking how to follow Jesus." Jesus loves Israel and He loves the Muslim nations too. He wants for all of His children to come back home! Some folks are โ€œboycottingโ€ the Catholic Church because Pope Leo XIV said marriage is between a man and a womanโ€ฆas if the Church was ever organizing Adam & Steve weddings in the first place. They say: "Weโ€™re leaving!" The Church said: "Ah okay, the door is wide ... just close it gently." Meanwhile, millions of people are like: "FINALLY, a Church that still has common sense!" โ€ฆand are rushing in like converts on Easter Vigil. Letโ€™s be clear: The Catholic Church didnโ€™t change its teaching, itโ€™s the world that got weird and wants the Church to clap. But Pope Leo said, โ€œNOPE!โ€ โ€œIn this Church, marriage still means Adam and Eveโ€ฆ not Adam and Yves.โ€ Now everybody's panicking like: "How dare you say marriage is what it has always been since Genesis???" โ€œHow dare you not update Godโ€™s opinion???โ€ My dear people, this is not Netflix. We donโ€™t update Scripture to suit trending hashtags. We preach the truth, not TikTok theology. So to those leaving: We love you, weโ€™ll pray for you, but weโ€™re not remixing Heaven's manual. And to the ones joining: Welcome to the one Church where truth is not negotiable, even if itโ€™s not fashionable. Shout out to Pope Leo XIV for holding it down like St. Peter๐Ÿ‡ป๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

ST. CARLO ACUTIS๐Ÿ‡ป๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ While it can sometimes seem as if saints are a thing of the bygone era, or that they do not have modern interests and talents like ours, St. Carlo Acutis shows us that saints can be โ€œnormalโ€ teenagers with extraordinary faith, even in the Internet age! St. Carlo Acutis was born on May 3, 1991 in London to non-religious parents. However, much of his family was Catholic, and he was baptized a few weeks after his birth. Shortly after, he moved with his family to Milan, where his parents would work for family businesses. Since his parents worked, Carlo was often entrusted to the care of nannies or daycare centers. From a young age, he demonstrated an interest in Catholicism, and one of his babysitters would answer the questions he had about her faith. From this young age, Carlo began showing extraordinary signs of devotion to Christ. When he was three years old, his grandfather died and appeared to him in a dream asking for prayers. Shortly after, Acutis put on his coat while his grandmother was watching him and asked to be taken to church so he could pray for his grandfather, who according to Carlo โ€œhad gone to see Jesus.โ€ Carloโ€™s mystifying faithfulness extended to ordinary situations, too. One time at daycare, some other children were bullying him. Thinking he was being too nice to them, a nanny tried to teach Carlo to set some boundaries so that the other children would not steal his toys. Carlo replied that โ€œJesus would not be happy if I lost my temper.โ€ After spending summer days at the beach, Carlo would join the older women of his local parish to pray the rosary. On walks to school, he would take time to learn the names of people working along the road and greet them personally every morning, from then on. After his first communion at age seven, Acutis would frequently attend Mass to receive the Eucharist, & regularly went to Eucharistic Adoration. His faith & his incessant questions eventually brought his mother back to the faith. The Acutis household employed a Brahmin immigrant named Rajesh Mohur, whom Carlo befriended and later inspired to get baptized, too. Mohurโ€™s friend & mother also converted after hearing Acutis speak about the faith. As a teenager, Carlo loved reading and computer science & he taught himself to code & play the saxophone. He enjoyed playing video games such as Halo, Super Mario & Pokemon but according to his mother, he exercised great discipline & only allowed himself to play video games for one hour each week in order to avoid addiction. At 12 years old, he became a catechist & began sharing his faith with his peers. He also showed interest in the lives of the saints, especially Francis of Assisi, Anthony of Padua, Francisco and Jacinta Marto & Dominic Savio, and he was said to have a special devotion to both his guardian angel & St. Michael Archangel. When Carlo was 14, his parish priest asked him to create a webpage for his parish in Milan. Then, a priest at his high school asked him to create a website to promote volunteering. For his work on the website, Carlo won a national competition called Sarai volontario, which translates to โ€œYou will be a volunteer.โ€ Following these successes, Carlo used his coding skills to create a website cataloguing every reported Eucharistic miracle in the world & maintain a list of Marian apparitions recognized by the Catholic Church. He launched the website in 2004, then worked on it for two more years before unveiling it publicly on October 4, 2006, the feast of St. Francis. A few days earlier, however, Carlo had developed an inflammation of the throat. Doctors diagnosed him with parotitis, which is typically a mild infection & dehydration. A few days later, his condition worsened & by the next Sunday, he was too weak to get out of bed for Mass. He was brought to a clinic & diagnosed with acute promyelocytic leukemia, with little chance of recovery. He was transferred to intensive care, then to another hospital, for treatment.

Cincinnati: Eucharistic Miracle? On September 8, there has been an alleged Eucharistic miracle in Cincinnati, Ohio. It was witnessed by Father Jeff VoLehman of St Patrick, Taylor Mill, Covington Diocese, Kentucky, who was presiding a First Communion for a boy in a familyโ€™s home. Many witnesses were there who saw the host transform visibly before their eyes. September 8 is the Nativity of Our Lady. The host has been taken to Cincinnati Archbishop Schnur. No other details have been available since. An enquiry to the person directly concerned remained unanswered.

THE FIRST CATHOLIC CHURCH IN HISTORY๐Ÿ‡ป๐Ÿ‡ฆ This is St. Peter's Cave Church in Antioch, the oldest Church in the world. The interior of the church grotto is austere and simple. The only permanent furniture are the ALTAR, the INDIVIDUAL STATUE and the stone throne. This cave church was built by the apostle Peter and the apostle Paul around 40 AD during their first missionary trips to Antioch before moving on to Rome. Together with the apostle John, Saints Peter and Paul established the headquarters of Antioch, one of the most important in Christianity. As we all know, Christ-followers were called Christians in Antioch in Acts 11, 26 (according to the chronology dated around 47 A.D.). And these Christians were the Apostle Peter, Paul, John, Ignatius and Polycarpus.. Apostle Peter, Paul and John decided to ordain Saint Ignatius bishop of Antioch to replace Evodius... And this close friend of the 3 Apostles, Saint Ignatius, surname Theophorus (meaning heavenly or divine person) was a strong and courageous soldier who fearlessly rebuked Emperor Domitian, the pagan emperor and persecutor. He was the one who called the first Christians of Antioch Catholics in his letter to Smyrna in which Saint Policarp served as bishop there. Again, this is the interior of the Cave Church of St. Peter in Antioch, built by Peter and Paul themselves with a small ALTAR and A SINGLE STATUE, this is the oldest Christian Church in the world. The dog in the photo was trained to identify and find life after earthquakes. His posture and the fact of staying fixed as seen in the image is the posture that tells the rescuer that there is life in that place... "On the evening of the last day of his October 1995 visit to the United States, John Paul II was scheduled to greet the seminarians at Saint Mary's Seminary in Baltimore. It had been a very full day that began with a Mass at Oriole Park in Camden Yards, a parade through downtown streets, a visit to the Basilica of the Assumption, the first cathedral in the country, lunch at a local soup kitchen run by Catholic Charities; a prayer service at the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen in North Baltimore; and finally a quick stop at Saint Mary's Seminary. The schedule was tight so the plan was simply to greet the seminarians while they stood outside on the steps. But the Pope made his way through their ranks and into the building. His plan was to first make a visit to the Blessed Sacrament. When his wishes were made known, security flew into action. They swept the building paying close attention to the chapel where the Pope would be praying. For this purpose highly trained dogs were used to detect any person who might be present. The dogs are trained to locate survivors in collapsed buildings after earthquakes and other disasters. These highly intelligent and eager dogs quickly went through the halls, offices and classrooms and were then sent to the chapel. They went up and down the aisle, past the pews and finally into the side chapel where the Blessed Sacrament is reserved. Upon reaching the tabernacle, the dogs sniffed, whined, pointed, and refused to leave, their attention riveted on the tabernacle, until called by their handlers. +++They were convinced that they discovered someone there +++ We Catholics know they were right. They found a real, living Person in the tabernacle๐Ÿ‡ป๐Ÿ‡ฆ

ALL EYES ON NIGERIA๐Ÿ‡ป๐Ÿ‡ฆ ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฌ For many Nigerian Christians, faith is now lived under constant threat. Villages gather to worship in burned-out sanctuaries, pastors preach despite the risk of abduction, and displaced families cling to Scripture in crowded camps. This is one of the most dangerous places in the world to follow Jesus - and yet it remains one of the least reported humanitarian crises. To my brethren in Nigeria, you aren't forgotten. Stay strong and keep the faith God is with you.

The devil appeared to three monks and said to them: "If I gave you the power to change something in the past, what would you change?" The first of them, with great apostolic fervor, replied: "I would like to prevent you from leading Adam and Eve to sin, so that humanity does not separate from God." The second, a man full of mercy, said to him: "I will prevent you from straying from God and condemning you forever." The third of them was the simplest and instead of answering the tempter, he knelt down, made the sign of the cross, and prayed: "Lord, deliver me from the temptation of what might have been and what was not." The demon, screaming and trembling with pain, fled. The other two were surprised and said to him: "Brother, why did you react like this?" And he answered them: โ€œFirst, we should never talk to the enemy.โ€ โ€œSecondly, no one in the world has the power to change the past.โ€ โ€œThird: Satanโ€™s interest was not to prove our virtue, but to trap us in the past, so that we neglect the present, the only time God gives us His grace and we can cooperate with Him to fulfill His will.โ€ Of all the demons, the one that most holds men back and prevents them from being happy is โ€œwhat could have been and was not.โ€ The past is left to the mercy of God and the future to His providence. Only the present is in our hands. Live today loving God with all your heart.

The Miraculous Story Behind the Shoulder Wound of Jesus๐Ÿ‡ป๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ๐Ÿฉธ In His Passion, Jesus Christ suffered greatly for the sins of man. He wore the crown of thorns, was scourged at the pillar, and had the Five Holy Wounds inflicted upon Him. While most Catholics know of these, few are familiar with the shoulder wound of Jesus, and the miraculous story behind its devotion. Tradition says as Jesus walked the three miles from Pontius Pilateโ€™s courtyard to His Crucifixion at Calvary, the Cross dug through His shoulder ripping flesh from bone. According to a pious legend, Saint Bernard of Clairvaux prayed and asked of Christ what was his greatest unknown suffering, and what wound suffered in His Passion was most painful. Christ replied to him: โ€œI had on My Shoulder while I bore My Cross on the Way of Sorrows, a grievous Wound which was more painful than the others, and which is not recorded by men.โ€ Christ asked that Saint Bernard and other members of the Faithful keep a devotion to his shoulder wound, and that those who do will receive Godโ€™s grace. โ€œHonor this Wound with thy devotion, and I will grant thee whatsoever thou dost ask through its virtue and merit. And in regard to all those who shall venerate this Wound, I will remit to them all their venial sins, and will no longer remember their mortal sins.โ€ Saint Bernard heeded Christโ€™s call, composing a beautiful devotional prayer to honor the shoulder wound of Our Savior: โ€œO Loving Jesus, Meek Lamb of God, I, a miserable sinner, salute and worship the most Sacred Wound of Thy Shoulder on which Thou didst bear Thy heavy Cross, which so tore Thy Flesh and laid bare Thy Bones as to inflict on Thee an anguish greater than any other wound of Thy Most Blessed Body. I adore Thee, O Jesus most sorrowful; I praise and glorify Thee and give Thee thanks for this most sacred and painful Wound, beseeching Thee by that exceeding pain and by the crushing burden of Thy heavy Cross, to be merciful to me, a sinner, to forgive me all my mortal and venial sins and to lead me on towards Heaven along the Way of Thy Cross. Amen.โ€ While Saint Bernard was the first to venerate the shoulder wound, he was not the last. Saint Padre Pio kept a devotion and also suffered the same wound himself as a stigmata. When Pope Saint John Paul II was still a priest he visited Padre Pio and asked him which wound was his most painful. Father Wojtyล‚a expected that it was his chest wound, but the saint replied: โ€œIt is my shoulder wound, which no one knows about and has never been cured or treated.โ€ Prior to his death, Padre Pio confided to Brother Modestino Fucci at his friary in San Giovanni Rotondo that his greatest pains happened when took off his shirt. At the time, Fucci believed it to be his chest wounds much like John Paul II. When he was later assigned the task of inventorying all the items inside the cell of the late Padre Pio, he noticed his undershirts had blood stains on the right shoulder. That night, Brother Fucci prayed asking Padre Pio for a sign if he truly bore the shoulder wound of Christ. At 1 A.M., he awoke with an excruciating pain in his right shoulder and the room was filled the aroma of flowers, the sign Padre Pioโ€™s spiritual presence, and he heard a voice call out: โ€œThis is what I had to suffer!โ€

THE BODY OF THE BISHOP WAS DUG UP FROM THE GRAVE, HE WILL NOT BE DECEIVED This week in Rome, Cardinal Gregorio Pietro XV Agagianianian (1895-1971)'s tomb was opened and they found out no decomposition in his mortal remains. He was a Roman Catholic Cardinal and a Patriarch of the Armenian Catholic Church from 1937 to 1962. Yesterday September 12, 2024 the incorrupt body of Cardinal Aghagianianian was transported from Rome to Beirut. The Bishopโ€™s 76-year-old body still appears fresh as if heโ€™s only taking a nap.
