I had a friend in college who always messed up and kept asking for 'just one more chance'. His name is John.
John was a smart boy, I mean really smart. But he had one problem; he never delivered as expected of him.
Our teacher gave up a group assignment one day and John was chosen as the group leader. He said, "I got this part covered guys, don't worry". And we were all relaxed, thinking we were in good hands. lol
Some days to the deadline for the submission came, but John was no where to be found after we tried reaching out to him several time. Two days later he showed up saying; "Guys, this ain't me, I'm really sorry, just give me one more chance".
But here's what happened;
After we couldn't meet up with the submission, we lost marks because John failed us. So we all quietly stopped and rejected him.
Not out of hate. But because we couldn't trust him anymore.
