According to George Lucas, roughly 50-100 survived Order 66. However, in his mind the survivors had basically atrophied their connections to the Force and gave up on the Jedi way in order to survive.

Like I've said time and time again, THIS is what you call the perfect finale, let alone the perfect movie. Thank you Marvel, for letting me and my friends witness this epic journey of darkness and light, told on a scale unlike anything that's been done before.

This was a phenomenal finale, and this show as a whole was a brilliant bridge between the two trilogies of the saga. Thank you Lucasfilm, thank you Ewan McGregor, and thank you Hayden Christensen.
May the Force be with you.

Inspired by Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones. Thank you @vanekaiiri for this beautiful commission crossing over two of my favorite love stories in all of fiction.

The Prequel Trilogy was a masterpiece of a story beyond the comprehension of critics. It elevated the Star Wars saga from a classic Hero’s Journey into a Shakespearean tragedy that shows the fall and redemption of the most powerful Jedi in the galaxy.

The problem is that the whole idea of Luke reckoning with the broken legacy of the Jedi, realizing he needs to face his own weakness, and embodying the true nature of the Jedi by refusing a lightsaber duel, has already happened. It is the plot of Return of the Jedi.
I have to say, this has got to be the wackiest hashtag ever since 1) Netflix hasn’t expressed any such interest (although we’ve discussed other stuff) & 2) Zack hasn’t expressed any interest & seems to be happy doing what he’s doing (and, yes, we too have talked).
I just don’t understand why they didn’t reshoot the whole season to have them replace the new characters. They had to have known doing it the way they did would only make people hate the new characters more because they’re not Foggy and Karen
I understand that you probably didn't know, but really disheartening that you would choose to platform a problematic artist like her. She's body shamed cosplayers, used slurs to insult the works of other artists, has an odd fetish for mentioning kids' private regions, has tried organizing a mass spamming to SE to try and deplatform content creators (@DeputyARUUU can attest to that one) (1/2)
This isn’t even bad. Is it goofy? Sure, but that’s part of the fun with Lucas’s Star Wars: It’s ability to seamlessly change tone and genre while simultaneously maintaining the core identity of Star Wars.
Except unlike Ki-Adi-Mundi, the Disney canon already gave us a birth year for Palpatine in the book Star Wars: Timelines. His year of birth in that book was 84 BBY, so unless there’s a 50+ year time jump from The Acolyte S1 (132 BBY), it CANT be Palpatine.
NO SHIT!!!! The originals and prequels became the masterpieces they are because George Lucas had a plan for both trilogies and stuck to them. He didn't let the fans dictate how he told his story.
