During a Special School Board Meeting held on July 21, the School Board unanimously voted to postpone the start of the 2020-2021 school year until Monday, August 31.

Congratulations to Allen D. Nease HS Navy JROTC for placing 5th among 583 programs in the Navy League Most Outstanding Unit nationwide competition! NHS JROTC was also named as the Most Outstanding Unit in Area-12 for 2018.

The SJC School Board just named High School III, opening for the school year 2022-23, Beachside High, beating out St. Johns High School in a 3/2 vote. The school colors are blue, lime green and gray. A mascot will be chosen next week.

The School Board is proud to recognize Claudia Mueckay, a senior at Tocoi Creek HS and Flagler+ Healthcare Academy student. Claudia recently saved the life of a fellow shopper who had a medical emergency at a local Publix by performing CPR and using an AED machine. 👏🙌
Currently, SJC is not under a tropical storm watch or warning. The SJCSD has made the decision to remain OPEN for school tomorrow. All extracurricular activities will be canceled for Thursday, November 12 and Extended Day will remain in normal operations.
