Let's not forget that Ukraine also fought along with Russia against Germany in WWII, and they suffered more heavily than the Russians did in the war.

You have just sold out the Ukrainians to the Russian aggressors.
Shame
The numbers tell the true story: Belarus lost 25.3% of its population - the highest toll in the USSR. Ukraine lost 16.3%. Russia's loss was 12.7%. Yet Soviet propaganda turned all these deaths into "Russian sacrifices," just as it inflated the total 26 million Soviet deaths into Trump's "60 million Russians."
Why this matters now: After defeating Nazi Germany, the Soviet Union occupied Eastern Europe - the West's deal with one totalitarian regime had simply enabled another. When Hungarians and Czechs later rose up for freedom, Soviet tanks crushed them. Today, Putin uses myths about "Russian victory" to justify similar ambitions - and Trump's peace plan, built on these same myths, risks enabling history to repeat itself.
