It appears as though my magnificent summer of golf has come to an end.
Between graduation and now, I’ve carded 77 rounds onto GHIN, more rounds than I will probably play over the next few years.
I played a shit ton of new courses, did some awesome traveling, did my fair share of pro shopping, and most importantly met some amazing people.
Over the coming days and weeks, I’ll be highlighting my spectacular summer of golf. I hope you all enjoy the recap because it will be one for the ages.

The Zoo Club
The Aiken, SC golf boom isn’t slowing down any time soon. Old Barnwell, Tree Farm, 21 Golf Club, and whatever else is going up now have another competitor in The Zoo Club.
With an 18 hole course, an extensive practice facility, and the home of many exotic animals, The Zoo Club is changing the game.
The Zoo Club will be home to plenty of crazy animals that are allowed to roam the course freely, demonstrated in the logo.
This idea is something a buddy and I came up with over the winter and an idea we will hopefully bring to fruition later on in our lives.
This is my favorite creation yet.

Dear @FootJoy,
Like I said, I’d be wearing your amazing shoes you sent me for every round in the future. I kept my word and wore them for my round today. They kept my feet warm, dry, and incredibly comfortable.
Unfortunately, on the first hole, as I was chipping beside the green, one of the spikes fell off! I attempted to put the spike back but it was broken entirely and did not take.
While the shoe’s traction still performed incredibly well, I was befuddled why such a great shoe would break so easily.
I stand here, grateful and impartial — letting you know that both the shoes are wonderful and that I had this issue.

Lido Beach Golf Club
My new premier location and course creation. Replacing the current public, “Lido Golf Club,” LBGC will be an uber private and premier golf club in the United States — among many greats on Long Island.
Inspired by Walter J. Travis’ Garden City Golf Club, LBGC has an incredibly bold design, but sits on the Each Channel of Long Island and a block from the beach, exposed to plenty of winds.
The course doesn’t have much rough, but miss a fairway and you’re sure to find a a bunker or fescue. Keep the ball straight and you’ll have no trouble finding the wide fairways.
The greens are small, quick, and with crazy undulation. There is always a safe point of the green, or just off, and that miss will make for a getable up and down.
Please enjoy this design and I would love to have some discussion in the replies.
