I stand in solidarity with the workers at BP's Whiting Refinery in Indiana as they fight for their right to collectively bargain.
BP is illegally stopping employees from coming to work and getting paid, making it extremely dangerous for the folks who live nearby in the community.
Thanks to @RepMrvan and @Labor_Caucus for spotlighting this issue. Itās time to end this lockout and get back to the bargaining table with @Steelworkers.

Immigrants trying to follow the rules shouldn't be punished for it. Thank you to @RepBonnie for leading the Fundamental Immigrant Fairness Act to stop these courthouse arrests once and for all.
Now Congress should pass it.

Immigrants attempting to follow immigration laws should not be punished for their good faith efforts.
The systematic arrest of immigrants attending court hearings and other appointments related to their status violates fundamental values of fairness.
These arrests encourage those immigrants attempting to navigate our already broken immigration system to stay in the shadows.
Earlier this year, @RepMarkPocan, @EleanorNorton, and I introduced legislation to end this cruel counterproductive tactic.
Congress should immediately codify this judges ruling and pass The Fundamental Immigrant Fairness Act (FIFA)
