⏰Today, I introduced the OPT Fair Tax Act to end tax incentives that encourage companies to hire foreign workers over Americans. American workers should never be put at a disadvantage in their own job market. My bill restores fairness by ensuring employers pay the same payroll taxes regardless of who they hire. Huge win for women and girls across America. Female athletes deserve a fair and level playing field, and today's ruling protects the integrity of women's sports. The Supreme Court got this one right.
BREAKING: The Supreme Court just handed states a major victory in one of the country's most closely watched culture battles: protecting girls' and women's sports. In a 6-3 ruling along ideological lines, the court upheld laws in Idaho and West Virginia banning transgender students from competing in women's and girls' school sports. Justice Brett Kavanaugh writing in his opinion, "The term 'sex' in Title IX... cannot plausibly be interpreted to refer to anything other than biological sex... The Court concludes that separate sports teams for biological males and biological females are reasonable given the inherent physical differences between the sexes."

I'm glad to see Two Rivers Harbor included in the @TransportGOP's Water Resources Development Act. After hearing from local boaters, businesses, and community leaders about delayed dredging causing boats to run aground and creating navigation issues, I urged the Committee to prioritize this project. I'll keep working to ensure Two Rivers Harbor gets the attention it deserves. transportation.house.gov/new…

Good news for Wisconsin! More than $13 million in EPA Brownfields funding is coming to communities across the state, including Calumet County, to help clean up and redevelop underutilized properties. These investments will help support new investment, job creation, and stronger local economies. Thank you @EPA. epa.gov/newsreleases/epa-ann…

Parents have a right to accurate, transparent information when making medical decisions for their children. I applaud the FTC for taking action against WPATH after families were misled about the risks and benefits of pediatric gender transition treatments. Families deserve the truth, and accountability matters. ftc.gov/news-events/news/pre…

I recently enjoyed touring 5K Fibres in Neenah. Their team manufactures both non-woven fabrics and the specialized equipment used to make them - all right here in America. Wisconsin manufacturers continue to lead through innovation. Thanks for the tour!

I had the wonderful opportunity to tour Valley Packaging Industries in Appleton and learn more about their work supporting disability employment, manufacturing, and community-based services. Their team is helping create pathways for individuals to build skills, contribute in the workplace, and experience the dignity of work in a supportive environment.

The @EPA is making $25.5 million available to help small, rural, and Tribal communities improve wastewater systems and protect water quality. This kind of support matters for many rural communities like those across Wisconsin’s 6th District. epa.gov/newsreleases/epa-ann…

Today, we’re reminded that our flag isn’t just a symbol - it represents the freedoms, sacrifice, and unity that make this country exceptional. And it holds a special connection right here in our district - Flag Day traces its roots to Waubeka, Wisconsin, where the first formal celebration took place in 1885. I'm proud to honor that history and the flag that continues to inspire Americans in every corner of the nation.
