I think it should be join a company that’s invested in your capabilities.
Cause some Startups will milk you to pass a certain stage with no investment and hire someone else with a higher career once they get there.

“If you actually want to develop real skill sets and problem solving, join a startup” can be true, but it’s also a bubble.
