🚨 EXCLUSIVE: We can exclusively share the story which left Khusanov in a heated row with Pep Guardiola after a training session. According to high-ranking sources, Khusanov’s future at City is already up in the air (!)
After a training session in late March, Pep embraced Khusanov and praised his performances both in training and in games. ‘You’re a champ’ Pep told him. Khusanov replied: ‘you’re a shampoo’ due to the language barrier as he meant to say ‘you’re a champ too’.
Pep Guardiola didn’t see the funny side of it as he’s convinced Khusanov made fun of his baldness. Apparently Ruben Dias tried to intervene and explain the situation as Khusanov finds English hard to speak, but Pep’s had enough.
Khusanov will not play again for City and is only making the bench to fill the numbers. His City career is over before it even begun.
