Tokenomics Update 🕹️ With the $RCADE TGE upon us, we have an exciting Tokenomics update to promote ongoing ecosystem growth and longevity, while protecting participants. Firstly, please rest assured that NFT, Node, Airdrop, Investor, Advisor, and community emissions remain the same. Any changes made are to promote ongoing ecosystem growth. For transparency, here’s the revised Tokenomics breakdown as per the pie chart below: 🔹 RCADE Nodes were 50% and are now 37%; however, as above, NFT and Node Emissions remain the same, we have reduced the total number of nodes from 75,000 to 40,000. 🔹 Airdrops were 12% and have since expanded to ‘Airdrops and Game Growth,’ thus increasing to 19.38%. 🔹 The Ecosystem and Treasury were 7% and have since expanded to ‘Ecosystem, Treasury, and Liquidity,’ thus increasing to 9.8%. 🔹 Investors and Advisors were 19% and are now 17.15%; however, as above, Investor and Advisor emissions remain the same. 🔹 Team remains 12%. 🔹 We have since introduced a ‘Launch Contributors’ category of 4.67% to onboard Launch Contributors globally, with the goal of regional expansion. Community Update 📢 The team is actively working towards restoring the ability to ‘Plug In’ NFTs and ‘Run’ Scout Node Licences via easeflow. Currently, the only accessible tab on the node.rcade.network site is the ‘Airdrop’ tab, which allows users to claim their $RCADE Airdrop tokens. When we reinstate the ability to Plug In NFTs, Mint and Claim Scout Node Licences, eligible users will have access to an NFT/Node-only area on the site. We will confirm when we are live. Note: Users will have a two-week grace period to ‘Plug In’ and ‘Run’ their Scout Node Licences. Emissions will be backdated to TGE so that nothing is lost during this period, and these emissions will be reflected after the two-week grace period. Lastly, $RCADE from unplugged Nodes will be redistributed to the NFTs eligible for Enhanced Emissions (NFT Plugged In + Scout Node License Running). The team is currently working on a high-level postmortem, and we will share our next steps soon.
