Editing Tips w/ Ken:
Monitoring your audio!
- Keep your main audio at around -6dB to -9dB so you aren't blasting people's ears off 😂
- Music during talking portions should be low enough to hear but not intrusive on your main audio; I find -20dB to -30db range to be great! 👌

For any visual learners, I made this video as a visual aid! THIS is the B-Roll sequence I talked about yesterday. Adding a few SFX will help populate your footage and set the scene! AUDIO IS IMPORTANT

Editing tip w/ Ken:
AUDIO is more important than video. Audio impacts the way we see & feel things. Stacking your timeline w/ SFX (sound effects) can be great way to immerse the viewer.
Be careful adding too many filters and SFX though, don’t wanna muddy your audio!

Editing is NOT a linear process... I always go through multiple pass throughs of portions in my video. I just scrapped a whole edited segment of my TC vlog just to add in a B-Roll sequence to make it more exciting and shifted the rest forward!
