Before Universal got the Macy's Parade balloons & floats no longer used, Disney MGM Studios used to get the actual balloons used in that years Thanksgiving Day parade trucked down and displayed in the NYC backlot. This was prior to the Osbourne Lights. @StudiosRemember

More pics of Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade balloons when they were displayed at Disney MGM Studios @StudiosRemember back in the day. The Studios did a great job of decorating the NYC backlot to be NYC at Christmas. I have videos of the tree lot, the carolers, a street hustler..

Amen!! Even my wife often references it often, never moreso than on vacation years ago in California and we ended up next to this. She referenced the movie and told me to get away from this truck but I told her not till she got a picture of it as who'd believe me.

Speaking for my friends and I who have flown down from NJ for HHN every year since 2004, selfish I know, but thank you! After being there for the 16th, 20th and 25th was not happy about not making it to the 30th if it happened. Made the right call and will see you in 2021!
