Been holding off posting anything about my health journey because I feel like it’s cringey to talk about. BUT lots of messages these past months have been coming in about my weight loss so here it is:
2020 I was at my biggest and most depressed (260LBS) and my health issues started spiraling out of control. By end of 2022 I had to get emergency surgery to remove my gallbladder because I abused my body so much.
Decided to make changes a year ago, here they where:
- sleep 6-8 hours
- cut out ALL garbage food
- eat Whole Foods and home prepped foods (mostly)
- workout 6 days a week (no exceptions)
That’s it. The hardest part for me was being disciplined, I’ve always been someone that chases good times and binge eating and binge drinking. My whole life. But now I chase good times in other ways. My mental health has drastically improved with my physical health as well.
I have still got a long way to go health wise. Still got some pesky stomach fat. Still got some pesky mental health issues. But I’m 5,000 times better than I was in 2020 and I’m grateful for every day!
Hope this post has a bit of valuable info for some of you. Remember to love yourselves and take care of your bodies and minds.
