No need to sugarcoat it. As the famous abolitionist Frederick Douglass said, the problem of America is race. A hundred and fifty years later it remains the same. When the American Constitution was crafted, there were no rights guaranteed to Blacks or women. The framers saw America as a White's man country. And despite the enormous contributions of women and Blacks over centuries, White men still can't let go of their racism or sexism. It's who they are.

The castration of male slaves was to ensure there would be no hanky panky with the slavers' harems. The brutish operations were done without anesthesia and the castrated slaves endured excruciating pain and many died. This was fine with the slavers because it supposedly determined the hardiest slaves and there was an almost unlimited supply of slaves to replace them. Arab slavery was among the most brutal of all. Besides being worked to death or used as cannon fodder in Arab wars, they were made to perform the most humiliating tasks just for the pleasure of the enslaver.

This man is truly sick. This is what having unlimited power does to someone who is already corrupt. He knows he can do practically anything and there won't be a peep out of his supporters. Republicans created this Frankenstein monster and only they can stop him.

And yet this man is a hero for many White Americans, men in particular. Even some Democrats sing his praises. This shows what happens even one group controls the narrative and writes the history of a nation. Certain people are praised and immortalized despite their true history.

When I come to your site I come to get information about Africa and some of the good things going on there. Instead I get this constant slander about a Black president revered by many around the world, yet you uplift a Muslim dictator responsible for the deaths of many Africans.

Dolly's the best. Her charitable contributions and her genuine concern for her fellow man sets her apart from many celebrities who are only concerned with their own selfish needs. Her work getting books for young readers is near and dear to my own heart.

In Medieval times, the rich used moats with man-eating crocodiles to keep the poor from storming their castles. Today, they no longer use moats, but build bridges to separate the poor from the middle class, turning them against each other, and thus ensuring their survival.
