In situations like this, how can you not dislike Fnatic. Cypher has been to every event far and wide for them and a direct part of them qualifying for their first major in ages only to be absolutely screwed by the Org.
Inconsistencies come with the entry role, but if he doesn't play the major at least for Fnatic after all he has done for them, it will be one of the most egregious benchings in a long time
Ahead of our opening match at the CS Asia Championship against paiN Gaming next week, @jackASM0 joins the roster on loan until the end of the season, stepping in for @cyphercsgo_ for the duration of the tournament.

The Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC) has taken decisive action to suspend Mr. Dmytro "SENSEi" Shvorak, Mr. Maksym "THRONE" Semenov, Mr. Artur "DarkS1DE" Kravchenko, and Mr. Danylo "nat1ve" Bakin, professional esports players, from all ESIC Member events for two years following investigations into teams Akuma, Project X and Majesty corroborating allegations of multiple breaches of the ESIC Anti-Corruption Code and significant evidence of suspicious and unusual betting on matches involving these players.
ESIC's comprehensive investigation included examination of betting evidence from our Anti-Corruption Supporters, match analysis, witness corroboration and betting pattern analysis. Based on the findings, each individual was charged with breaches of the ESIC’s Anti-Corruption Code, particularly in relation to corruption and betting activities.

Worth a read, also explains a few bits from my side too.
I really enjoyed working with Anders last year leading into this year and thought we had a pretty good thing going. Especially the work we did together, in arena at Elisa Masters, but unfortunately never had the chance to work bigger events together. No TO’s were up for ‘taking a risk’ on a ‘smaller name’ or taking a gamble on tier 2 talent hence the variety of his casting partners 😅
As he mentions, I’m not associated with top events just yet so I could never get my foot in the door. Not a headline name + considered a tier 2 gamble = no chance.
Can be frustrating of course and I know I’ve got a lot of work to do to get to that level, but I believe in my own ability and will keep grinding until I’m not seen as a gamble anymore 🫡
