Do you see it now? GM
BREAKING: Two people have climbed to the top of the Empire State Building in New York City, holding a banner from the skyscraper's antenna reading, "When the power of love beats the love of power, the world knows peace." As of now it's unclear how the pair reached the top of the building as police work to get them down from the spire, 1,454 feet above the ground.

🗣️My latest thoughts on the trillion-dollar quantum computing threat, just published in the Silicon Valleys Journal. @coinbase's Independent Advisory Board recently published a position paper on quantum risk, and the framing is the one that matters: this was never really about timing. It's about readiness. The debate has been stuck on when a quantum computer capable of breaking Bitcoin's cryptography arrives. Adam Back has argued that window is 20 to 40 years out. Coinbase's paper implicitly challenges that framing entirely. Because the threat isn't binary. It's already accumulating. Roughly 4 million Bitcoin, around 25% of usable supply, sit in addresses with exposed public keys. That's not a future risk. That's "store now, decrypt later" already in motion. And the "we'll upgrade when we need to" assumption doesn't hold up. Taproot took years of coordination for a modest change. A full post-quantum migration across a decentralized, ideologically split network is a different order of complexity entirely. This is landing in a moment where the whole industry is moving at once.@realDonaldTrump just signed two executive orders in the same week. @Microsoft just pulled its own quantum-safe deadline forward to 2029. @ethereum's own researchers are actively debating post-quantum migration paths. BlackRock has published its own paper naming the same risk. At @NaorisProtocol, we built the chain to be quantum-proof from day one. Every transaction is secured with cryptography designed to withstand quantum computers, not added after the fact. The conversation Coinbase just joined is the one this whole industry now has to have. I go deeper on what this means for market risk, dormant wallets, mining, and institutional readiness, in the full piece. Read more in the comments 👇

📲 Oh hello, @Microsoft has entered the chat. Their "Quantum safe roadmap" just dropped. "We are accelerating the Microsoft Quantum Safe Program (QSP) timeline and the goal is to transition products and services to PQC by 2029." The great quantum awakening is well underway, and the risk quantum computing poses to all industries can no longer be ignored.
Not sure who needs to hear this, but quantum isn't that far in the future. The time to prepare is now. Learn why we've accelerated our quantum-safe roadmap—and the steps organizations can take to stay ahead of its impact: msft.it/6016vtYKg

🥁 Drum roll please. Next up: @Microsoft. Microsoft just moved its own post-quantum deadline forward. Target: 2029. The CTO of Microsoft Azure, Mark Russinovich, published it directly: the risk timeline shifted, so the work moved forward with it. What Microsoft is actually doing: ✓ Pulling the Microsoft Quantum Safe Program forward, critical products and services transitioned to post-quantum cryptography by 2029 ✓ Folding PQC into the Secure Future Initiative, with named ownership and measurable milestones, not a side project ✓ Three priorities: modern network encryption (TLS 1.3 as the baseline), crypto-agility for stored data, and rebuilding the trust chains behind code signing and certificates The reason given is the one you've seen all week: "harvest now, decrypt later." Data encrypted today can be captured and decrypted the moment the hardware exists. And Microsoft names its source directly. The blog cites the US executive order signed June 22, and France's decision to stop certifying products without quantum-safe encryption. This is the pattern now. A government moves. Then the largest infrastructure companies on earth move with it. Google. IBM. The US government. Now Microsoft. Every one of them is racing toward the same finish line, 2029, 2030, 2031. Naoris is pioneering the new age of post-quantum blockchains, already built for the world they're all racing to reach. Slowly, then all at once.

🚨 Every transaction on Naoris' post-quantum blockchain is authorized using ML-DSA-87 (FIPS 204). Here's what that actually means. First, what a signature does. Every blockchain uses cryptography to prove a transaction is really yours. Bitcoin, Ethereum, and most chains rely on a scheme called ECDSA. Fast, small, trusted for over a decade. The problem: a quantum computer breaks it. Using an algorithm called Shor's, a powerful enough quantum machine can take your public key, work out your private key, and forge your signature in minutes. That's the flaw sitting under most of crypto today. ML-DSA-87 is the standard we enforce at the protocol level to remove it: ✓ FIPS 204: the official designation NIST gave this algorithm when it became a US federal cryptographic standard, after years of open testing ✓ Built on lattice cryptography, a different branch of math no known quantum computer can break ✓ Runs at NIST Level 5, the highest security tier the standard defines ✓ The same standard the US government is now migrating its own systems onto Most chains are treating this as something to retrofit later, a live network migrating off cryptography it was never designed to leave. We were designed differently from the outset. Post-quantum cryptography sits at the protocol level, from the first block, with no legacy window of exposed, breakable signatures to carry forward. For builders and developers, this is worth taking seriously. A dapp deployed today inherits the cryptography of the chain it runs on, not the cryptography that will be considered acceptable in five or ten years. Building on a chain that is post-quantum from genesis means that foundation is already settled, rather than something to revisit down the line. Soon. $NAORIS

Classical 🆚 Quantum: two machines, two threat models Classical computers made today’s cryptography feel safe because they work through problems in sequences. Step by step. Attempt by attempt. Key by key. For strong digital signatures, the number of possible keys is so large that even the fastest classical machines hit a wall of time. That is the classical threat model: → Work through possibilities → Search an enormous key space → Run out of time before finding the answer Quantum changes the attack surface. A quantum computer does not just “try faster.” With Shor’s algorithm, it can use the structure of the math itself to attack public-key cryptography in a completely different way. That is the quantum threat model: → Exploit mathematical structure → Break assumptions behind public keys → Turn exposed cryptography into a real risk That matters for blockchains because ECDSA and Ed25519 were built for a classical world. They secure wallets, signatures, transactions, validators, and identities across crypto today. But the assumption was never “hard for every possible machine.” It was “hard for classical machines.” Post-quantum cryptography uses different mathematical foundations, designed for a world where quantum computers exist. That is the shift: not faster computers, but a different class of machine creating a different class of attack. Naoris was built for that standard from day one.

The Naoris Quantum-Proof Stack 🛠️ Most chains say they're "working on" post-quantum security. Naoris built the entire stack on it. Layer by layer 👇 🔹 ML-DSA-87 signatures Every transaction is authorized with ML-DSA-87 (FIPS 204), the NIST-standardized signature scheme. It replaces ECDSA, the scheme securing Bitcoin and Ethereum that a quantum computer can forge in minutes. 🔹 ML-KEM key exchange Before the network shares any data, it agrees on encryption keys. That's the step "harvest now, decrypt later" attacks hit first. ML-KEM (FIPS 203) keeps it quantum-safe. 🔹 dPoSec consensus A blockchain isn't just wallets. It's validators in constant communication. Most chains leave that layer classical. Naoris encrypts and signs it with post-quantum keys too. 🔹 Lattice-based math The foundation underneath all of it. Naoris is built on math problems no quantum computer can solve efficiently. That's what makes the chain quantum-proof. 🔹 NIST Level 5 The highest security tier the US national standard defines. The same framework the government is now migrating its own systems toward. Naoris started there. 🔹 EVM compatible None of this changes how you build. Deploy with Solidity and the tooling you already use. The post-quantum security sits underneath. No migration. No exposure window. No countdown. While other chains plan their transition, Naoris already operates on the other side of it.

🇺🇸 The second US executive order, titled "Securing the Nation Against Advanced Cryptographic Attacks" (EO 14409), is the defensive half of this week's quantum push. Where the first order is about building quantum power, this one is about surviving it. What it mandates: → Every federal agency to migrate onto post-quantum cryptography → Led by the Office of Management and Budget and the National Cyber Director → Technical guidance from Commerce, the NSA, and CISA → A dedicated migration lead appointed inside every agency → Key establishment moved to NIST standards by 2030, digital signatures by 2031 → A Commerce pilot migration due by the end of 2027 The order names the threat plainly: harvest now, decrypt later. Encrypted data is being collected today and stored, waiting for hardware capable of breaking it. That threat does not stop at government systems. The cryptography being retired here is the same cryptography securing most of crypto. Bitcoin, Ethereum, and nearly every major Layer 1 depend on ECDSA, the exact scheme the government is now moving away from. The difference is enforcement. A government can mandate its own migration. A decentralized network has no one to issue that order, and no way to compel thousands of validators and wallets to follow it. This is the problem Naoris was designed to never have. Not a migration plan, but a chain that started on post-quantum cryptography and never carried the legacy in the first place.

🧑‍⚖️The first US executive order, titled "Ushering in the Next Frontier of Quantum Innovation," commits the country to building the first quantum computer powerful enough to begin an era of quantum-enabled scientific discovery. What it sets in motion: → A national effort to build a science-grade quantum computer, coordinated across the Departments of Energy, War, and Commerce and the Intelligence Community → Quantum-enabled sensors and networks to be deployed within five years → National Quantum Workforce Development Institutes, apprenticeships, and credentials to build the talent base → Domestic supply chains and manufacturing for quantum technologies → An expanded Quantum Counterintelligence Protection Team The framing is explicit: competing nations, including adversaries, are moving to challenge American quantum leadership, and the US intends to win the race to build the machine first. Every breakthrough this order is chasing, in drug discovery, materials, energy, sits alongside the same capability that breaks the cryptography securing today's digital world. The power and the threat arrive on the same hardware. That is the world Naoris was built for. Naoris is a post-quantum Layer 1 blockchain, secured by NIST-standardized cryptography from genesis rather than retrofitted later. Mainnet is already operating in its initial phase, with validator onboarding underway and developer access opening as the network expands. While the US races to build the machine, the chain designed to withstand it is already running.

Global cybersecurity spending is projected to hit $300B by 2026 & quantum threats are accelerating government timelines on cryptographic standards. Solid move by Naoris Protocol building decentralized security infrastructure at the node level before this becomes urgent.
🚨President @realDonaldTrump just signed two executive orders on quantum computing. Google and IBM in the room. Naoris knew this day would come. A post-quantum L1 blockchain built before governments were racing to mandate it. Here is what was signed 👇 Order 1: Build a cryptographically-relevant quantum computer by 2028. National programme. Department of Energy facility. Order 2: Migrate all federal critical infrastructure to post-quantum cryptography. → Key establishment: Dec 31, 2030 → Digital signatures: Dec 31, 2031 → Previous federal deadline: 2035. Moved forward by four years. → NSA, CISA, DHS, OMB, and Commerce all named. → Harvest now, decrypt later explicitly cited as the threat model. The orders set deadlines for government systems. They set no deadlines for decentralised networks. Bitcoin, Ethereum, and most L1s still run on ECDSA, 65-byte signatures built on elliptic curve math that Shor’s algorithm breaks in minutes on a fault-tolerant quantum machine. The exact scheme the US government just mandated migrating away from. 6.9 million BTC sit in addresses with permanently exposed public keys. Project Eleven puts Q-Day as early as 2030. The US government just set its own migration deadline for the same window. Those numbers are not a coincidence. Naoris is a post-quantum Layer 1 blockchain, built on ML-DSA-87, NIST Level 5, FIPS 204. Lattice-based signatures. No known quantum attack. 4,600-byte signatures vs ECDSA’s 65. The tradeoff the industry is about to be forced to make, Naoris made at genesis. → Transactions → ML-DSA-87 authorization enforced at the protocol level → Validators → dPoSec, ML-KEM key exchange, AES-256-GCM encrypted sessions, ML-DSA signed messages → Architecture → EVM-compatible, Solidity and existing tooling unchanged → History → no classical-only window on-chain, no exposure accumulating from day one No migration to coordinate. No deadline to scramble for. No years of ECDSA-signed history sitting permanently on the ledger waiting on hardware progress. The infrastructure the rest of the world is now being ordered to build, Naoris is already running on 🔋 Slowly, then suddenly. $NAORIS

The quantum race is heating up 🇺🇸 4 months ago, we posted this. The signs were already showing. Did the US government see it too? 👀 Since February, the escalation has been relentless: → March: President Trump's Cyber Strategy for America names post-quantum cryptography a federal modernization priority → May: the Commerce Department takes $2B in equity stakes across nine quantum computing companies, including roughly $1B into a new IBM venture → This week: two executive orders. A national quantum computer effort targeting 2028, and a mandate to migrate every federal system to post-quantum cryptography by 2030 and 2031, four years faster than the previous deadline The trajectory we pointed to in February is now official US policy. Wait until they discover post-quantum blockchains. Wait until they discover $NAORIS.
🇺🇸 vs 🇨🇳 Who will win the Quantum Race? China is pursuing quantum as a national priority, with an estimated $15B+ in public investment and a state-led strategy. The US sits closer to $4B publicly, relying more heavily on private innovation and research ecosystems. But the race isn’t only about who builds the most powerful machine. Quantum computing will unlock extraordinary breakthroughs: - Drug discovery and molecular simulation - Faster AI training, optimisation, and reasoning - More efficient energy systems, logistics, and materials science It will reshape entire industries. But quantum power also brings a second reality. The same capability that accelerates discovery can break today’s cryptography, undermine digital identity, and silently compromise financial systems, blockchains, communications, and critical infrastructure. This is where sovereignty changes. Sovereignty used to be about land. Now it’s about data, access, and trust. Quantum supremacy gives offensive capability. But offensive capability alone does not protect a nation. Quantum capability without quantum defence is fragile. Naoris Protocol is building post-quantum trust infrastructure so systems can continuously verify integrity and behaviour, without breaking existing networks. The quantum race will unlock immense potential. The winners will be the ones who can secure it. $NAORIS
