Michael was a genius for always insisting on using film for his music and not video. Film was always capable of 4K conversion !!
Beat It and Thriller look pristine in 4K. Hopefully harbingers of things to come. Extra marks for respecting the original aspect ratio. Say what you want about the #Thriller40 project, it’s refreshing #MichaelJackson’s short films are being treated with the care they deserve. J.
