Valorant does a reset every Episode. They are on the top.
League does a reset every year and they have been the most successful Esport for years.

The one thing that triggers me about the ow2 thing is people complaining that they have to pay. Like most of us paid 40 bucks once and got 3 years worth out of it AND we are still getting stuff for free. OW is more consumer friendly than most other games. Stop complaining.

I've heard from multiple people close to my original source with OW2 that the development is taking longer than expected. From what I can gather a release in 2022 does not seem likely anymore. I hope this is false and I'm proven wrong.

An example would be a player that ended up low GM in OW1 may very well place in Diamond at the start of OW2.

OW becoming free to play is still a thing and now basically confirmed with Blizzard stating they want to implement the Warzone monetization in future Blizzard titles, esp the OW and Diablo franchise.

Back in the day there were players that stood out on specific heroes: SBB for Tracer, Jjonak for Zen, Ryujehong on Ana, list goes on. Nowadays, there's no standout players on anything. Just shows how dilluted and low skill ceiling the meta heroes have become.
