Today marks one month of Cybertruck ownership. Here are some thoughts -extremely fun to drive -4 wheel steering is amazing -motors are louder than I expected but they sound super cool - truck is very quick -you don’t even notice the huge wiper while driving -cooled seats are a god send. -definitely recommend tinting the front windshield -thing is a fingerprint magnet but is easily cleaned with Windex -people think twice before cutting me off and I love it. -steering wheel is amazing. I was skeptical at first but it rocks. @elonmusk @cybertruck @wmorrill3

A small bag of bushings that cost the Air Force $90k. We’re only allowed to buy things from certain vendors and they charge us out the ass for it. One time I picked up a bolt from our supply and just because it was nuclear certified it cost $2500 and looked like a bolt I could buy from Lowe’s for $2.

A man’s Cybertruck was keyed at an Eos gym in Cypress Texas. The police were called and the individual was arrested but what’s frustrating is that when he informed the staff that a member of the gym was the one who keyed Cybertruck, the gym staff did not seem to care. His truck was just PPFd and now parts of it need to be replaced.

Didn't expect this post to blow up the way it did but I want to highlight some of the interesting repeating comments. 1. A lot of people think this "drive per mile" fee is only for EVs and are more than happy to have it implemented. I hate to break it to you, but this would apply to all motor vehicles including gas cars. 2. It is scary how many people are ok with charging people more to drive to "improve the roads". If you think this will improve the roads, I have some beach front property here in Vegas to sell you. 3. A lot of people think EVs wear out the roads more because they are heavier, but apparently these people have never heard of semi trucks or school buses. 4."EV charging should be taxed and at a much higher rate than gas since they are worse for the environment." I would like to see data on this please. 5. "EVs are bad because they contain Cobalt that is mined by child labor in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC)." I can't speak for other makers, but Teslas contain no conflict minerals and they constantly screen their suppliers to ensure compliance. I find this comment interesting because a lot of people don't realize it is highly likely the phone or laptop they used to type this comment most likely contains cobalt that was mined in the DRC.

Somebody commented on how filling up at the gas pump only takes a few minutes vs charging at home, but nobody ever takes travel and wait time into account so let me put it in perspective based off the video I posted today. Round trip to Costco: 30 minutes Wait for pump: 20 minutes Filling up: 3 Minutes Total: 53 minutes Filling up twice a week that's 106 minutes per week which in total is 5512 minutes a year which is 91.86 hours a year of your life just to fill up your vehicle. Almost 92 HOURS!!!!!!!!!!. Imagine what you could do with an extra 92 hours a year. Also Im not good at math so feel free to check my figures.
