Alright so in the bid of getting clients to work with,
There are various ways you can go about it. One is definitely by posting your works.
I'd try to be as detailed as possible here.
First of all, i see people playing around with designs ( I mean, works that are supposed to sell you as a designer, you end up doing something that looks playful - Not gonna talk more on this ), if you are going to sell yourself as a designer you should have designs of project that matters,
Take for example if you intend on working for a project building on
@0xPolygon you could go explore the chain, Find one or two projects there, do a design ( Either social media design, or if you are a UI/UX designer pick a section of their website - Doesn't have to be the full website you'd redesign ), You don't have to reference the actual project when doing this, it is not so important trust me.
During my early days as a designer trying to gather POW, i had myself check out tons of projects across multiple chains, run up a design or two for the project, try to use it to pitch, if i didn't get the job i added it to my portfolio asap, i got enough proof of work in a short amount of time without actually working for lots of projects,
DO THIS FOR 1 Month. You'd definitely land your first gig or even land multiple gigs this way.
Also, Attracting clients with works on your page is not easy, do not just design because you feel like doing a design to share on your page, Target a certain project, a certain founder, in most cases my designs are targeted to a certain founder i want to work with not necessarily to attract projects ( Yh i know it sounds funny ๐๐ ), but it gets the job done faster.
Anyways, that's all for now.
CIAO!
Going to release a short writeup later today to help people who are taking the path of posting their works to attract clients in the space.
Hope it helps.
