What the hell do you mean by “rein in” District and Circuit Court judges, you moron? These are Article III judges, part of a co-equal branch of government, not subordinates of the President or Vice President. They don’t take orders from the executive—they interpret the law and, when necessary, block unlawful or unconstitutional executive actions. That’s the whole point of checks and balances in our system.
And no, they aren’t the Supreme Court, but that doesn’t make them any less independent or authoritative within their jurisdiction. The President has 0.00 power beyond what the Constitution and Congress allow.
The judiciary exists not to serve the executive, but to check it—a fundamental principle of American constitutional governance.
