Another perspective is that USC and UCLA in the B1G could bolster support for baseball. Combined with the boost in revenue, it could shift some influence from the south to the north. Could help with moving start of season back which would be good for college baseball.
The beauty of Big Ten administrators like Gene Smith, Gary Barta and Warde Manuel is that the league will make $7 Billion over the course of this deal and will STILL act like they don't have money for more coaches. Just wait and watch. Can't wait.
