There’s nothing radical or nasty about the truth: an employed male trade union activist is not a “struggling mother”. In fact, I think it’s insulting to struggling mothers - of which there are many, sadly. Factually and legally, men cannot be mothers.
The RD trans tweet furore highlights how blindly radical many people have become. An MP targeting a trans member of the public with a nasty tweet is so obviously wrong it’s something even moderates object to. But even saying that leads to *thousands* of replies, many abusive.
