Hello! :) Today's classic Sonic fact is that nothing you see is real. That "thing" you call Sonic is just a few state machines and tile checks. A spring? AABB and some sound effects. It's nothing.
All packaged up to give you the loose illusion of a journey for a few mintues.

Since Sonic Mania reverted back to Sonic 1's proportions and style of sprites, the Knuckles in Mania is officially what he would have looked like in S1 and S2.

While the stages are structured stupidly, I do love the visual themes in S1 more than others. So darn wacky and cool. You can't really categorise some of them.
The further on you go you see more normal stuff like mountains, cities, or beaches. (Mania's new stuff did good tho!)

To get the blues used for Sonic in Studio, I basically colourpicked 50/50 between Sonic 2 and Mania.
