Lane Varsity opens up with a 10-2 W over Evanston. Ben Plumley led the way on the mound with 11 K's in 4 innings. The offensive attack was led by Nick Lagges (2-2, inside the park HR, 2 RBI) and Jake Bleeden(3B, 2 RBI).

Lane loses to Elk Grove 7-6 in the first round of the IHSA state playoffs. Rallied late but wasn't quite enough. Experienced the highest of highs and the lowest of lows in a 48 hr span. That's baseball and that's life. Thanks to all of our seniors, it's been a hell of a ride!
Lane comes from behind in a thriller and wins 6-5 on a walk off inside the park HR by Zach Shashoua. Lots of big plays by everybody to get it done, but none more so than Nick Lagges coming up with a 2 run base hit to tie the game, with two outs and an 0-2 count!
