Today, the Highlander family is in deep mourning because of the sudden passing of Coach Frank Thompson. Frank was a great friend, husband, father, brother, son, teacher and coach. He coached football at LH for 30 years. He mentored so many young people. A truly great person.

Frank was the offensive line coach right along side me for 20 great years. He coached 7 CIF Championship teams and 16 Freeway league championships teams! He was also teacher of the year! The best of the best!

IT'S OFFICIAL! @CerritosFalcons head football coach Frank Mazzotta has announced his retirement. In 40 years at the helm, Mazzotta posted a 255-161-6 record; 21 bowl games; 7 conference titles & 546 players earned scholarships to 4-years schools. Truly a legend!

Diego is an inspiration to us all. From the minute we learned he was sick he fought every minute of everyday. He showed us all what true courage is. He never complained and was always positive. 12/11/16 we took that picture as a family beating cancer. We were so happy and proud.

I have been fortunate to have grown up and influenced by so many great coaches and people. None better than Marijon Ancich. Great coach, mentor and family friend. Made a small catholic school in Santa Fe Springs a football power. Prayers for his beautiful family.
Tonight at 9:05pm, Marijon “Coach A” Ancich, entered eternal life. He was surrounded by family when he joined our Lord. Coach A has impacted so many lives throughout his time. He will be missed.
