Ended the weekend 3rd @ HCS Orlando. GGs to everyone we played. We came out really flat today and me waking up sick did us no favors. Regardless, we overcame a lot of hurdles as a team this event. Going back to the lab on our weaker gametypes and fixing our mistakes for worlds.

Our worlds run is over 1-3 vs C9. We end the weekend at 4th. This season was filled with ups and downs for me as a player (in and out of game), but regardless I appreciate FaZe for picking me up and doing the best we could with the short amount of time we had. #FaZeUp

The sword in infinite is used nothing like the H2 sword. H2 sword is about successfully chaining a sequence of kills without dying, which created the skill gap for that version of the sword. You can fucking suck with the H2 sword, infinite’s sword is not comparable at all

If you don’t have the one counter to the sword, you have to play for trades. You need a disruptor, plasmas or a teammate to trade the sword player. Trading is not good gameplay, why are we promoting this? Trading isn’t even a mechanic in H2!

In H2 I also SPAWN with a skillful counter to the sword, BxR. Sword in infinite is used to lock down choke points way more than it was ever used to do so in any other Halo, and it’s mostly the map designs fault. If you don’t have repulse you’re dead.

I love the sword when it’s designed correctly and paired with good maps. It’s a staple of comp Halo. Infinite does not have a good sword or maps. The way the sword works mechanically combined with the corridor map design is objectively bad and promotes camping.

I guess im a FA for all events even the invitational. If any top 6 teams are looking to pickup a top 6 coach with very little game knowledge hmu. I sense most top teams are not making any team changes because they are loyal unlike GMS who is filled with rats and goofys.

On the topic of mechanics I’m sick of people saying things that are blatantly false and perpetuate it as fact to use in an argument. “You can trade with sword in x Halo” or “What’s next rockets? They already reduced ammo by half in x Halo” People are literally just making shit up
