I slapped this together quickly so forgive the meh fx, but here's a concept on how more overt "this isn't an infinite, you've just been reset" player communication could go. The horn stabs could instead be the announcer saying "Reset!" or any other audio cue would work, too.

I'm happy the Marvel 3 community gets to have this. Skullgirls made it in last year against incredible odds, and another appearance was always going to be a long shot. It may not be at Evo, but it lives on as long as you play it. Skullgirls has "died" no less than three times 😂

I've been an active participant in my son's Pokemon card hobby, and we've been going to the same weekly for about 3 months. I learned that the kids there have invented a mythos around "the tall bald guy."
He's apparently unbeatable, but he rewards good sportsmanship with cards!

Skullgirls is good enough that even now, as a 7 year old game, I still host locals. It was the game that got me into playing fighters seriously, the one that got me to enjoy the fundamentals. 10/10.
I'll keep playing SG for as long as there are other people to play against 🐺
