How is CP grinding any different from stargrinding? Even if Split was CP grinding, their levels are fun to play and it takes a lot of editor skill to release levels that quickly.

Here's a graph that I made for what I think will (and should) happen regarding ratings in 2.2.
This way, the system would allow for more creating skill expression in the editor. Generally in game design, you want the skill floor and ceiling to be as far apart as possible.
The biggest issue i have:
there now is a ceiling above epic rates. people who get epic will now feel like they haven't done enough to achieve their max potential and burn themselves out working tirelessly on a single level even more now, because there is a higher reward

It's criminal to me that this part in Grief (made by Burgadahz with 3 months of work) was replaced last moment, despite it EASILY being one of the best parts of the level imo.
I already didn't really like Grief much before, and this really puts the nail in the coffin for me 🫤

It’s all just jealousy. People tend to way overrate how hard it is to get creator points, so when someone gets lots of them they just get harassed, regardless of the levels’ quality.
Split’s gameplay is really fun and there’s nothing wrong with having a style that works for them
