Debated on making it public but I certainly believe in the power of prayer. Our sweet momma was given some brutally tough news on Sunday. We traveled to see her this week and it was awesome to see her spirits lifted as she started her chemo. Pray for healing and the pain to go away. She is an amazing woman, mom and toughest person I know. Prayers for all who are enduring seeing a loved one suffer!

I was appalled to learn this happened; this event, nor the views advanced represent what we stand for in Somerset, nor does it represent the strong sense of community, togetherness, and unity we have cultivated and built here.
I was honored to welcome Israel’s Consul General @anatsultandadon Wednesday to Somerset. As many know, I strongly support Israel and have long been involved with @AIPAC and appreciate their advocacy.
Somerset residents should also know I denounce hatred in any form, and the Consul General's visit was an opportunity to reaffirm our dedication to fight against it.
Standing together, especially in the face of such hate which has no place in Somerset, makes us all stronger.

I have visited schools in Butler/Pulaski & I hear much the same. Would love to visit Greenup. I have advocated for teacher raises, paid student teaching, student support personnel & changing the testing culture to reach more students. This is how we improve education in KY.

Yesterday I had the privilege of visiting with Pulaski Elementary students using 3D printing technology to model playground equipment they designed.
