Times have changed and self promotion is the new normal. Small schools with no recruiting budgets can now expand their horizons and recruit across the nation.
Self promotion is sickening. Players and parents. I don’t know of one player who has received a scholarship offer from a tweet. Tagging schools and coaches is even more sickening. I am a true believer that in 2021 if you can play, they’ll find you. Period.

Bobby was an unbelievable manager. Our team would have run through a brick wall for Bobby. I’ve never seen a manager instill so much confidence in a team that he would be willing to pick the batting order out of a hat. Made the game fun and serious when it had to be.
Here's another thing I heard from many people about Bobby Jenks: He was a really good manager. He was serious about his work and worked extremely hard, but also knew baseball was supposed to be fun and helped his players see that as well.
