It looks to me that this iteration of Tekken has cultivated and rewarded lazy gameplay so much that people have started complaining when the game stops spoon feeding them all the answers.

I fail to understand why we nerfed Nina's combo game about 8 different ways to then give everyone else the same if not more combo potential with 0 execution 🙃Feng is more of a combo character than Nina currently. Doesn't seem right to me but maybe I'm just biased.

I know everyone is on the Nina hype train because @ArslanAsh95 makes it look easy but playing her feels horrible in season 2. Every win is like pulling teeth and feels like luck. Reminds me of T7 where risk reward was never in your favor. I might just be bad though 🤷🏿

After watching my games again, I realized that in my mind, I felt like I was playing a lot worse than I actually was (during both sets). So many things that I'm usually quick to pick up on went right over my head.

My #TEKKEN8CNT thoughts :
Game looks great, feels very smooth and responsive across all platforms.
However, Nina is very underwhelming at the moment. It feels exactly like playing Tekken 7. Same problems that prevent you from being aggressive and force you to play a certain way.

We went from endlessly backdashing into 1 button for the win to needing to get your offense going in order to win. Having to actually interact and deal with people's buttons puts a lot into perspective. It's most of the reason why Nina is so good in this game. She owns that game.
