I opened a once sided position like 2-3 days back, and I made almost $60
In fess with $2.4k deposited on @MeteoraAG .
I’m currently out of range on the downside side , leaving me with my deposited amount of $Sol.
Did I actually get a loss? Answer is no as the initial token amount I deposited is the same or slightly higher by a little, I’ll confidently say I’ve made good profit looking at my unclaimed amount of fees.
If I held the sol in my wallet, I would not have generated any fees, and I would still have faced the drop in price of $Sol .
$Sol is currently trading at $156, once it gets above $160, I get back in range and start to Earn fees again.

No better time to drop this story than Now, so here we go. Starting out @MeteoraAG all came with the idea of FARMING points and move to the next project. My first use case was with my Jup airdrop , had no understanding as I saw my Jup being converted to sol and I didn’t know it was meant to do that so I withdrew
The following month, got into a Dynamic AMM pool with the salary I go paid from being a mod. Literally lasted for over a year and few months
Then I decided to go all in with my funds around march/ April 2024 and it turned out bad , as I didn’t seek knowledge and just wanted to farm Points.
After attending bootcamp 5 and 6 where I got to learn from @Heavymetalcook6 it all changed , I started attending lp jam sessions as it did change everything, shoutout to @hellochow for that initiative “Lping Ben’s money” where we even get to keep the profits while learning
I remember needing to pay some funds the next day , I didn’t have such amount left and I said on the call “I’ll send it the next day” all I had to do was open an overnight pool of $Billy and Meteora DLMM helped saved me from being embarrassed and got me more than I needed.
This changed my whole perspective about Meteora and I said , this isn’t just to be farmed for points , it’s literally a life saver and money printer. Because at that point I was feeling helpless and felt things weren’t working for me, but meteora did gave me the much needed energy to keep on pushing
I did encounter some losses but mostly due to me going against my own rule.( I’ll make a thread on that ) , but overall I closed 2024 with good profits , covering what ever loss I had and that kept me pushing all to this moment in 2025. Checked my allocation today and I’m overwhelmed.
To anyone reading this, meteora is for everyone, irrespective of your income size or location, Meteora is here to empower you , all you need to do is take that step and join the movement .

1. If you opted for the NFT allocation and plan to merge your allocations together, do well to double check the wallet address you’re sending to.
2. For users who are willing to deposit some Solana before trading goes live, ensure you know the price range before going all in, so as not to get arbitraged by bots
3. Once trading goes live, wait a little second, cross check the $MET C.A before proceeding to swap your asset

I did promise to share the result of the $MET-Sol bid-Ask strategy which i did open.
It all went according to plan and I made above $100 in profit. All I had to do was JUST USE METEORA
Here’s what happened
1. Open a one sided bid ask using $MET-Sol
2.Had a good buy amount of $MET as the price dropped a little
3. I earned fees while buying on the downside
4. Got a reversal and all $MET got sold which also got me fees during the process
5. All I had to do was close my position and I’m happily smiling 😌.

This week is indeed one of the most anticipated week for all @MeteoraAG Liquidity providers
Two updates are scheduled to come :
1. $MET token price range
2. Allocation checker.
Price Range: This will guide liquidity providers on the expected price range to look forward to and kind of pool to start with when providing liquidity.
Checker: Eligible liquidity providers can view their allocations and choose to receive it via either of these options and NOT both
(1) MET token or
(2) Liquidity Distributor (NFT)
The checker will have a breakdown of all your allocations and show the total breakdown of the $MET token you are eligible to receive
It’s important to note that the Liquidity distributor option is 10%.
3% already allocated to Jup stakers and 7% allocated to liquidity providers in a FCFS system
And lastly selecting the NFT option won’t get your tokens locked , you can withdraw and close your position whenever you wish.

One of the most underrated pools has to be the SOL/USDC pool in my opinion.
If SOL drops in value, I’m not too affected as it’s like holding a spot position and I got to earn fees.
Using @MeteoraAG DLMM helps you DCA as it goes down and avoid going all in at the top.
If SOL increases in price and goes out of range, I’m happy to take profits and either hold , deposit in @JupiterExchange lend, or open a one sided DLMM to buy SOL as it dips while earning fees doing so , only possible with @MeteoraAG technology.

Not sure I’ve posted a pnl with a loss this year, but yes I do encounter losses some times when providing liquidity on @MeteoraAG , but doesn’t mean I’ll stop providing liquidity.
Based on the 5th rule , losses are part of the game, but it doesn’t mean you should stop, it’s only a moment to reflect what’s went wrong and how to come back stronger.
And yes, I should have cut my losses a little earlier, but as I’ve always said , I’m comfortable holding sol irrespective of the price action.
