It doesn’t work on my doors (I have 2) because of the way my room is designed. I’ve added fire extinguishers & baseball bats to my classroom wishlist to help defend my students if the need arises. I hate even having to think about it; kids shouldn’t have to deal with this.

I teach in an alternative school & taught my kids about a firm handshake, greeting, looking someone in the eye, tieing a tie, etc. The superintendent walked in one day & the kids stood up, introduced themselves, & shook hands w/ him. Now they want to greet everyone & wear ties.

My mom hosts a huge family potluck once a year…around 50 people in attendance. I convinced her that takeout boxes were the way to go. Bought a huge bag at Sam’s Club. Everyone gets to take leftovers home and there’s no more stressing about getting the legit Tupperware back. 😊
